Really hope it runs okay on my PC. Don't have much, 16GB RAM, 3600 CPU, and 3060ti 8GB.
Apart from a visual experience as with any VR game, I feel this one doesn't offer anything unique for VR, like it could easily be a TV only game. I felt this way with the Book of Moss game but then it won multiple awards or something
To keep sales records and bump their numbers for investors, I would assume.
$350 sounds good on a whim. But then you have to invest $420+ more on PS5 Pro if you want disc option.. it's like buying a new console. You might be able to get in the $400s for a disc version PS5 if kept in good shape.
OMG I NEVER CONSIDERED TRADING IN THE PS5, THAT MAKES THE PS5 PRO SO MUCH CHEAPER!!!
/s
"options for disc drive" is a minus because it doesn't have one, don't make it sound like a plus. Can probably get an external drive for $50-80 on a deal? So it's really $750-780 if you want physical media(which I do). I'll take the increase in power and hardware advancements for $150-180 more but for people who already have a PS5, that's probably a tough sell.
I think they compared games, with PSSR that looked better and ran at 60fps vs 30fps on base PS5.
Is this a soulslike? Interesting
Idk why you would want to play a game designed around third person in VR.. while still using non-vr controllers.
Looks like a cookie cutter game with a Star Wars skin to me.
Had to look it up. Damn, Dreamcast had them back in 98, talk about ahead of its time(even more so).
I want to run games more smoothly, but let's get real, most games will probably need to be patched to run at 4k/60fps, or to take advantage of the new hardware.
COVID was a huge reason that PS5 was hard to obtain.
Imagine getting hired for writing for a game you have no privy to, and it turns out to be this shit.
Why waste effort on writing for this tiresome genre of game.
Nah, it was better.
KB/M support needs to be "programmed" in for console. Can you just plug in KB/M an play? Someone allowed it when it is supposedly bannable. I sense an apology coming,
Same. I rather enjoyed The Order 1886(near launch). I'll give Hellblade 2 a try tomorrow, but I don't have high hopes of it being amazing. I like some great graphics and narrative, but at some point it's too much or sapping away from enjoyment of a game with lack of gamePLAY.
If it wasn't for all the problems players were facing, maybe it would just pass, but it's actually a pretty big problem.. you bet your ass it's getting boycotted.
Have a 1440p display, but I'd be totally fine running medium settings. The recommended is 3070ti 32gb ram, and like something higher than mine for CPU, for 1440p at HIGH. I'd be fine even running at 40fps. Will use DLSS for sure if i can squeeze out 10+ more frames.
