You learned all this from MGS?
I honestly didn't see it coming. Her writing was done in a way where you could basically put anyone in her role with a few tiny changes to the script(like any game with character creation/choice). Didn't read the whole thing, but AFAICT, this whole DLC isn't a lovey dovey romance story and the kiss is achieved through a heart option, right?
I'll try it on Game Pass PC. Kinda not expecting much with all that has been going against it. Planned to play solo, on PC, and always-online is not an issue... but I wonder how rushed it is.
Could be a funny game to rent.
I have 1TB internal on my PS5 set for PS5 downloads, and my console storage is purely for games I'll keep for a very long time so I don't wear out that TBW, then I have a 2TB external to swap out PS5 games(or play PS4 on) when I need them, as re-downloading would take 10x+ longer.

Just got RE4:R on the 19th(technically 12 hrs ago when I checked the mail), and they shipped Dead Island 2 already, a day after I had put it in Queue and 2 days before relase. Some games get shipped 2 days before release, though, but not all. I think I had put RE4:R in Queue just a day before release.
I barely put it in my Queue today, completely forgot to earlier this month. Probably won't get it shipped and have to wait weeks like I did with RE4:R
One of the greats on PS3, LBP2 as well. LBP3 wasn't as good... dumbed down even... and this Sackboy Big Adventure is something else. Still have not seen anything like LBP1 since and it could have continued to be great if they stuck with the formula, evolved it, instead of dumbing it down.
Depends on what type of gamer you are. If you want a collection physical is better, but some people just want to play and beat it and move on, and don't care to collect.

I enjoyed it enough after the Xbox One X enhancement, maybe a bit too run on with the narrative, but the gameplay, graphics, and mechanics are good, I can see where Control stemmed from. I'm pretty close to beating it on hard, too. 2 weeks is plenty, won't care too much when it's gone since I practically did most of the clean up.. less compelled to do 1000GS than platinum.
Yeah, if they add easy mode for you? It was my GOTY, tbh. Platinumed it will come back when DLC hits.
Movement did seem clunkier than the original for sure. Where are you getting the information of the removal of the content? Can you please share a source?

They can be enjoyed.. but usually it's when it's the only way it can be experienced, or by constraints. you have no constraints, and you're only excuse is you're waiting for a slim console, which to me sounds outrageous.

I've watched my brother play the MGS games, but I only beat MGS1 myself on the PSP in 2014, and MGSV in 2016. I took the themes and plots as lore, tbh.. trying to piece together the story of MGS rather than relating them to our current times.
