I rented it on Gamefly and sent it back, fairly certain I am not even 1/5 through. I liked Far Cry 5 but idk, might be because I had just got a PS5 and had so many games, just couldn't get through it. Open World fatigue set in quick. It was kinda fun for the parts that had action, but christ, getting to the action is a bore and a chore.. And traversing an empty, hot looking world was not fun.
That extra $100 is an investment. I could have got a Digital edition PS5 for $100 less but I decided the disc drive was a good investment, and it was. Already have a decent PS5 collection + Gamefly. Some people have a limit to what they want to pay, not that it's too much that they can't afford, but psychologically $400 or $500 might seem like too much to pay for a console, but it the end, they'll be replacing their consoles sooner than the people who went with the true next-gen ...

I agree with the pedigree. They've gained some accolade now by this acquisition. I had no idea they had supported such big titles and franchises. This is actually pretty huge. Being managed solely by Playstation Studios could bring a lot of development forward, the apparently have the knack.
Yeah this is next level shit. I did the car chase part a few times to see if it changes or if I can spot varied scenes, and it definitely seems like something that could be manageable in real game-play(actual free-aim). The Hellblade 2 showcase looked better but I could hardly tell if it was actually gameplar nor if it was on PC or XSX.

Playing on Xbox One X and it looks pretty good for last gen. I could go on PC and try for lower frames and better graphics on my ol RX 580.
I played up to CH 3 on PS4 version. I don't think I'd play the PS4 version having just recently obtained a PS5. It's kinda a tease to see a game released on a subscription plan that we know has a FREE PS5 upgrade, not being free because of the service terms. But afaik, Mortal Shell actually has Enhanced edition which I think might be a separate download/license, technically. Still blows, cash grab.

Playing it right now, just got it yesterday..hard but just barely learning and it's getting funner.
It's a straight shoot to end game, free if not for a small price compared to the full-game price, but offered for free with PS+. And no, it's not a demo, it's the end-game. lol. The game is actually trash regardless. Warframe is probably better, and it's free. of course lot of MTX.
