MP3 is kind of a crappy audio format to be bitching about not being supported. I assume it's the same for all formats?
Not being able to stream from a media server is quite a big deal.. though.
Because sometimes, when one is out of cash a flow and having bought a Xbox One a while back, one may want to watch Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime using a family member's account(for these video services) without having to purchase a Gold membership.. for example. :x
But yeah, the membership is cheap and the console is expensive, so I agree to some degree.. no one will purchase is for its media services, but if you can be happy playing games offline then the console will ...
and who would buy it..
oh right, achievement/trophy hoarders.
Only because the Xbox One needed improvements since E3(DRM, Online-requirement, etc)..
He means large strides(Sony has made) since Playstation 3(presumably) with development kits and support.. have you read the article?
He did mention he preferred developing for the 360, so there's your Xbox fanboy flamer fuel.
;)
Well duh.......
It's obvious that they excluded it from the basic bundle to be competitive with the pricing..... however, I doubt they did this in anticipation of the Xbox One's pricing and bundling, but of course they were trying to compete with each other.... they can deny it, but its a competition.
Trying to better appeal to the consumer is being competitive, and it's awesome that they gave us an choice on the camera of all possibilities.
Call of Battlestrike: Medal Ops Reach 5
Why can't we go back to those days, though? Why does everything have to be so graphical and rendered in real-time if it already looks amazing.... FF7-9, RE1-3, Parasite Eve....etc.. omg, they all used pre-rendered backgrounds, and they looked so good back in the day(and there were better looking games at that time), and are STILL awesome to play, the dated graphics don't phase most true gamers...
Shut up.
The problem is, it's Android..............and also
come on it's so layered, how do you even compare a dedicated OS and substanstial hardware advancements to a typical "console" with a typical bluetooth controller and Phone SoC - an unfathomable amount less power than even the Xbox One GPU/CPU - in a cube shaped enclosure.
This is aimed at casual gamers who want to save a buck($200-$300), or developers/modders/rebels.
Giggity?
It has nothing to do with being good at programming, any software engineer would know that even a fix like this would have to go through a long process, mostly not even consisting of programming, the patch may have well be done or at least its conception much before it is released.
Yeeaaah budddy!
Some publishers are greedy rat bastards is why the studios will close, not becauses gamers can buy and play used Xbox One games now.
Also these next gen systems are easier to develop and port for(x86 arch etc), therefore, lower budgets for equal quality games(scaled to power) is possible.
I don't know much about Cliffy B. but I can tell that he's a tool from the headlines of articles about him on N4G.
Wellllll techhnically this may equally be good for Gamefly, Redbox... etc.. but whatevs.. I dont buy full priced games usually.
Now GameStop can sell Xbox One games at full price and buy them back for
< 10% of what they sell it for used. Rat bastards..
Then it's in-depth for a beta then isn't it?
World size.
Sounded like John Goodman on dispatch.
Pretty sure dude, don't see why they would have put in dedicated media components and a background processing unit for the OS....
It's Japanese, now looks straight to them.
