Oh wow, thanks for the idea. So as long as I have a PS3, download the client on it and launch it for the first time ever, I can upgrade to the PS4 version? :D
PS3 version $25 right now on Amazon :)
I'm still playing Super Mario Galaxy 1 and think it looks amazing, especially for the hardware.
Nintendo hardly ever displeases for their larger first-party franchises.
76 out of 100, so worth a rent?
:p
I'm excited!
I know what you're trying to say.
Ive alreay pre ordered it. Too bad this guy didnt talk about anything but the price.
What I'm trying to saying is that both i5 and Jaugar can both be tested and measurable to some degree on one platform(PC). Again, I did say that this is roughly immeasurable due to the nature of the consoles, PC benchmarks is hardly an estimate power of the design that went into the PS4.
It is a PC CPU based on Jaguar, somewhat measurable and comparable to i5 in PC benchmarks, but PS4 isn't a PC.. so who knows.
Like the GPU power, I can see it being a bit immeasurable thanks to the low level design and development of console architectures.
5 more years and you could probably buy remastered PS3 titles on the PS4 for $5-20 each.(would be nice).
Really?
No, playing analog sub-hd video looks pretty much like crap on an HDtv vs. SDtv.. especially a single channel composite analog signal for video..
This is not a 1080p solution he created, it's just for people whose HDtv's do not have analog connections, still low-res and still going to look like crap on the HDtv.
Luckily the T.V. I play on still does have these connections :), but it's like 3+ years old and 32Inch.. PS2/Gamecube look alright with ...
You can play the Ghost song on the boombox, lol.
Bad ass. $40? :)
This is amazing, they're making Havok physics better on a more powerful generation and considering the architecture!
:|
Cool, so this means we will be able to see the PS3ish textures better... or are they actually using the crazy amount of VRAM/RAM to improve them for the PS4?
Actually if we're talking legality, you also need a PS2 to grab the BIOS ;).
About $40 for a decent condition one without cables/controller on eBay... I wish $20....
$2 for any games...??? where the hell do you shop?!? Getting good original hard copy games are practically a part-time job to find locally(for me anyway), and at that price especially so. I would rather buy the game on PSN for $10 than trying to hunt it down for the cheaper price.
Besides, a lot of people like to build an online collection...
I don't ...
Latency is more of an issue for input lag... higher bandwidth will not help.
Games seem to be working fine on Blu-Ray and are more demanding on the reader, I can't see this being a hardware issue and as the PS4 has only been out a month and a half, and Blu-Ray movie support just recently added, hardly doubt that the bugs will stay long with updates rolling in frequently.
Yeah, for 99 cents!
