Well who knows. I was thinking there is some stupid software bottleneck to the internal drive for use in system operations, external and internal can work simultaneously, perhaps these limitations won't apply to external since the system is on internal. I don't get why developers would have programmed a bottleneck for data rate in there games or why Sony would..

I'm wondering if external drives will improve load times.

In the end.. Who the eff cares? I'm loving the game. Games copy games all the time or else we'd have 80% less games in the world.

For hot glue fun?

Oh, because "Something is better than nothing" sounds kind of negative, like if they just changed some minor thing. Pretty huge for me, I'm surprised anyone with a Pro wouldn't be excited for this feature as well, there is tons of great pre-pro games that would benefit from this.

I think it runs pretty good, hardly one of the culprit games for frame rat issues.

Do you own a Pro?

Even that, you're only saving a 5-10% better load time in best cases, even with SATA III SSD vs SATA II 5400rpm stock drive, that's nuts you should see an insane amount of reduction to load times, at least 80%.

it would have to be the developers job to implement for their game, obviously reducing graphics. if a game has frame rate issues, it's probably already bottlenecked by the hardware and there's no way to boost it unless you overclock.

that spam.... are all their threads like that?

the Base Mode was an implementation whete they foreceably locked off the other CUs and downlocked the CPU, otherwise, outside of nonpatched games, the Pro is always Unlocked for whenever it needs the power. Now I'm sure what he means, is like with PC, when you upgrade your rig, you don't need to do anything extra besides to get a game to run better... BUT there's most likely more to it than just leaving the GPU and CPU alone when running nonpatched games. hence why it's calle...

Dark souls 3 and Fallout 4 are two of those games.

A lot of people did, at least for games they thought developers would unlock the frame cap for, which is still dumb.

I consider RE 1-4 the originals, lol. And the vibe I'm getting is RE4 for some reason.

Pitch dark and headphones with virtual surround, jeez, different experience. The game runs great, graphics are awesome, has a great story for me so far, gameplay is akin to the original RE's.. don't see any problem :). I expected a walking simulator RE back with the demo, but this pretty much feels like first person RE4.(havent played 5 or 6)

It NEEDS to be. For that pricing and considering the failure of the Wii U.

Umm, right? Like they started this RIGHT after they released the first one? lol

Lots of stuttering on crowded servers, rubberbanding creatures too. Even in singleplayer the frame-rate seems meh. Then that light thing on the right side of the screen on standard PS4. I think it'll be good in a few more patches, it doesn't seem like a finished release yet.

LOVE this game. Can't wait Otherworld.

I bought my PS4 and PS4 Pro to play games designed for it, if I wanted to play gamecube games or run linux programs, I have machines for that...
