Great game for that price, hell it's a great game for full price. I don't know why or how many people could dislike this game if they enjoy RPGs. very solid title with great music and lots of depth with the mobs as your third party member. If you don't have this game pick it up! Mr. Megaman nerd, what is the last game you picked up for 20 dollars or more?
That's PART of the issue with people's thinking on N4G. What many don't really think about is even when the PS2 was making boat loads of money in its prime, Sony was STILL losing money as a company. This company is in a serious situation. No amount of money generated from the gaming division alone can totally fix the company as a whole. Do you remember when a Sony car audio component (cd player, or speakers mainly) was considered way above average-awesome, or Sony Vega televi...
Great game......and I must admit I am secretly looking forward to the final fantasy rhythm game for the 3ds!
I don't think the titles are horrible. Just not as game changingly awesome as the were, or seemed to be. I enjoyed FFXIII one and two. But many companies in Japan haven't moved on or progressed with the times. I know I will always give Square Enix a try on any Final Fantasy or kingdom hearts title, just because of story, and nostalgia! So come on SE make good this year at E3 and the TGS!
Not to long after writing the previous post I read another interesting article... This really applies to Sony not just the gaming division. This was on Kotaku....

If Japan and its people don't seem to care and have faith in the products it'll just be that much faster when the ship sinks.
*THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON PLAYSTATION GAMING AT ALL*
But Sony as we know it is on the verge of being drowned. Every single product made by Sony is no longer associated with "being the best", or recognized as the must have item like in the past. Cameras, home audio, car audio, televisions, laptops, phones, tablets (even though they never took off) are all dwarfed some way by a comparable, cheaper product...OR lost big ground to other companies period. People like m...
I know that many people smoke weed, and many like myself smoked when we were younger and have stopped for the most part, but even though I'll get many disagrees, this article shouldn't have been approved to put up. As of right now it is still illegal and ties gaming to smoking pot. Yes it happens, but in a small way this promotes it. We all know that young kids and teens frequent this site not cool n4g. Not cool.
This game was/is awesome!

For those still thinking about picking one up, it's like playing roulette. Please read through the forum posted. As of today 1 of 4 opened new boxes still works. ( I owned 2 , both returned, got 2 new displays, of those 2 only 1 is working fine.) I sent 1 to be repaired I have it back now, so far no issues. Both were bought in late januar...
Where did you look? Go to amazon... Any place I've looked for reviews and advice (remember 2 broke on me) same problems, eventual total failure for many many people. I thought I was just one of the unlucky ones that got a defective one. Then the second tv in my children's room died. Same way, started with like a black screen that lasted a second.. Then a few seconds at a time, then total failure. no matter how good of a deal it seems it is not. Please read up on this televisio...
I'm worried.
@supremacy sure they may invest more in games, but they are turning out to not all be good investments. The last bad investment... Reviving twisted metal the way that they did.
I'm worried.
A company that large that makes years and years of bad decisions won't be a large one anymore! I know we care about the gaming aspect....But do you honestly believe that the powers that be at Sony will make decisions based solel...
This is not a good deal.... Please read... I've had 2 break on me, if you look around the web it has a very very very high failure rate. I would even say near RROD rates. No gamer should buy this....
Thank you Atlus. This game has been on my most wanted lists for awhile! Thank you again Atlus!
Once you get a group of friends that you play games with regularly, it is so nice to be able to have discussions about things without having to stop and type responses. I just find it very difficult to believe that so many gamers who don't have that option are so against it, or quick to debate about how insignificant it is. Yes, PC gamers have had the option for a longtime, it's a good one to have.
I'm 100% positive that the next Sony system will have tha...
Wow, I'm sorry, but cross chat is a big thing. Huge for many including myself in the Sony forums. Soooooo many questioned for so long things when an update was coming "when will we get cross game/party chat while playing?" or all we want is cross game chat.". Once it comes to Sony, which they ADMITED was a thing that many gamers wanted, all those who don't have both systems, or don't use it because most titles they play on ps3, or don't pay for live, will lov...
I can totally agree with all you said. Maybe the more that I think about it, it was online connection issues and the fact that I REALLY wanted to have a better online experience to go along with it. I did think it would be a system seller though because I was a huge TM2 fan and thought that would help push systems.
The biggest of all HAS to be no party chat. Even when I am playing a great game on the PS3 (heavy rain, and the uncharted games specifically come to mind) I would ALWAYS have my 360 on to be able to talk to my friends. I know it didn't help with the electric bill, but it was worth it. I think many people would have purchased more games, exclusive or third party, if party chat was available on the PS3.
I thought they were all solid, safe swords, but like ff13-2 or not, Ciaus's ( maybe the totally wrong spelling ) sword looked pretty cool.
My bet is on 2 things....improvements to LIVE along with a small increase, and a price cut for the 360. My probables are this... Square Enix announcing FF versus for the 360 (and maybe more from them), and Sega giving support for PSO2 on either the 360 and/or the nex gen console. My 2 unlikeliest announcements are nex console (just a quick tease), and a tablet tie in for gaming.
Great game awesome music....the more dlc the better.
