All disagrees... Please someone tell me how Sony as a company is doing well?
They have posted losses as a company for years on end...
They just dropped about 20% of their workers.
Just recently it came out that even the money they thought they SHOULD or WOULD make was substantially lower then they forecasted.
Please give me a reason to think that they are ok as a company, I need an unexpected pick me up.
I am a retired navy man who'...
In a way I agree with you.
We see no problem with the product Sony brings out.
Most people don't see a problem with the products Sony brings out
Financially the company is messed up. Bad leadership, horrible decisions, and here is the kicker.... PRODUCTS SO GREAT, BUT NOT MAKING MONEY.
Truth be told... I love my Vita, I love my 360, I love my ps3, I hate my wii
But products and companies that made them can be se...
PEOPLE are still playing 360''s in the United States.
That's what you meant to say!
Sony's gaming division is NOT making money. It's not because of the ps3 or ps2 sales( which they still get a bit) it is because of the money now invested in the vita. It was even stated from Sony that they don't expect to make money from the vita or " recoup" for 3-5 years! So even though items are being sold and they are getting money from sales, if you get 20 million from gaming division sales, but you invested 100 million in a product... IT STILL DOESN'T MAKE ...
Fanboy much Akuma!
Now if Sony was only a gaming company. Gaming is like one cog in the whole Sony machine.
They are really in trouble, we just don't want to believe it.
That is the best thing about these dueling banjos, the always make each other step up then challenge next. It makes Sony and MS better that each company exists. Even Nintendo did it with motion controls. But for all the fanboys out there, this is a great thing called competition. It makes both companies sooooo much better.
Looking more and more awesome... Is there a collector edition?
This game looks amazing, especially for people who were fans of the first one.
@ mottsy that is the big question, will it come to consoles. It is coming to the vita, BUT it makes sense to put it on home consoles!
Even though most xbla games don't come close to the full disc released titles there are quite a few that are deserving of more playtime. MS does know how to make money. This is no exception. Does anyone here dispute that xbla games make more money then PS3 games released on Sony's network? Just like the article pointed out, does anyone dispute that Sony is pushing more exclusives now then MS? It is just the direction that both systems have went. Both have huge upsides. Just p...
That is exactly what made me start thinking about going back. Then a buddy jumped back on.... And now I am waiting to get back home from vacation... Then it is on my friends! Dynamis and a relic.... Here I come!
Getting rdy to actually go back. Graphics don't bother me much.... But the game was very deep and satisfying. I played for 6 years, and I am looking forward to going back.
Space jockeys! That to me is the most interesting plot hole. I look forward to the movie, and to the upcoming game.
Let's face it both MS and Sony's next con will not do this. I think pubs like EA will step up to the no used games plate and maybe jump up the online to play cost from $5 to maybe 10 or 15 to encourage peeps to buy new.
Great read. Great ps3 answers in the inter view....
I had a problem with his answer given when asked about worth owning the vita....
ML: I think the third-party support will be there, and certainly internally from our own worldwide studios. We’re very much committed to it. Like buying any of our consoles, you know what you get in the first six months – you have to put some faith and some trust in us that in year 5 or year 8 that you’ll still get some amazing games and t...
Next they will change AotS into a 30 min show so they can fit in another episode of cops or cheaters!
I know last year was the first time I did NOT buy CoD.
I don't know about everyone else, but say a bioware game(KotOR, Dragon age, Mass Effect) I play through making all the "good" choices first. Most of these are how I'd like to think I would act in these fictional situations.
Then comes the second play... All evil, to the core. This way I get the big ends of the spectrum when it comes to the story. Usually in these play throughs I find it kinda difficult to make the evil choices, but do them anyways.
Always nice to have as many options to pay as possible.
First time I agree with you hicken. That core gaming experience is a strong focal point for Sony. And as a gamer I appreciate it. It is why I bought a vita. (it's like the core gaming of handhelds)
I am just worried that the core gaming way won't get the revenue that Sony wants. It will keep people like us interested in their products. But in a way that doesn't cut it anymore. Nintendo made a killing with leaving core gamers. Then MS got a share with kinect...
I am going to use my last bubble to say these 2 things....

That was from today.
And secondly we all know as gamers how sega has been doing (not well also)
But I bought 50 shares of sega (now sega/Sammy ) stock at the exact same time as the Sony stock, And it has done way way better. I actually ...
