One thing that makes sense IS the fact that some people destroy a game in 1 or 2 sittings. Those people need to get dlc right away, or they will never ever get it.
I think I am going to pick this up, and just keep it around for it's an awesome gaming history item to keep.

that was not real money lost this quarter, it was a write down from a bad deal that had to finally be wrote down on the books. MS made profit that quarter. I'll send you the link to explain it if you need to understand. Posting that "loss" was just a paper loss, many people don't understand it. While on Sony's side it was true money loss.

Nice products, and holding on to old business practices that worked when Walmart didn't really exist, DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. As far as understanding gaming, they know how to make some hit games, BUT they are disconnected with the way they run the online component (free is a good thing, but it shows)

In the overall picture Sony is dying.... as gamers we hope so much it wont, but bad business s just that. Losing money for years and years on end... THAT will kill you.

I've seen this coming for awhile, this is not the end, SONY NEEDS to make a more drastic change then what we would like them to do. Along the lines of sega... OR make a system that blows the nexbox out of the water NOT by strongarmrobbery'y (i know it isn't a word) but by sneaky inovation. Business suggests they need a winner to steal back some of the people they lost this last gen. there is absolutely no hope to make up the losses this gen... the vita is already a bust for no...
if you are an owner, or a person wanting to own, this article says why it has potential, and why it is struggling. The only thing I disagree was his ho-hum talk about Uncharted. That game was awesome. Overall all true, and can still have a happy ending :)

YES, look at the Wii. Great products even with great support doesn"t always mean money for the company. So many other factors come into play, Marketing, production costs, target audience income... that was/is a big thing for consoles in particular. What I am saying is the Sony business model is dated, and is no good.
That way of thinking is SOOOO not working anymore. There are many reasons why so much market share was lost this gen by SONY. NOT being first, NOT being cheapest are 2 strikes against them... while being the best is a mark for them. Why is it that this company doesn't understand the simple concept of having the BEST product doesn't always equal the BEST performance in sales is beyond me. So much of why this company is failing is based on the same principle. SONY NEEDS BIG CHANGES...

I owned A FEW of these set/monitors. Very nice pic WHEN THEY WORK. please look at the reviews on any major site about them before you buy, or say "it's a great deal"

Yeah respect them when they go broke too. Do people understand what trouble Sony is in as a company? Loving a product blinds people.... With all the BS aside SONY IS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE. No one in here needs to be an accountant or business major to figure it out.
