@Hungryalpaca
Battlefield 1 was still at least 10x the game COD WWII was simple as that, kiddo.
I usually judge my games on the game itself not the "hype" trailer.

Millions as usual, most likely, especially if the game is as good as Battlefield 1. I mean millions minus you I guess.

Lol COD WWII realistic? You mean like how they removed Nazi symbols cause they're offensive. Or how the MP was full of tiny maps and spawn killing. Battlefield 1 was 10x the game COD WWII was and until I see otherwise I'm betting on Battlefield V being the same.

While I love what Bethesda is doing right now, and I'm interested in playing Rage 2 I doubt Gearbox has concerns in regard to Rage 2.

Borderlands 2 had passed 12 million copies sold in 2015 and it didn't really have much hype coming off of Borderlands 1 at least not near as much hype as 3 has coming off of 2.

Trust me I get being skeptical of EA, but are we just gonna act like Battlefield 1 wasn't fantastic? The reveal trailer didn't go over well but that's all it is, a reveal trailer, it's throwing weapons, vehicles, and over the top action into a quick "hype" trailer before we see actual game play and stuff at E3. Everything from YouTubers and game media behind the scenes has been very positive. Let's actually see the game in action before we act like Dice can't...

Battlefield 1 already beat COD and was leagues better than any COD released this gen.

@Movefasta1993
Apparently we are gonna act like Battlefield 1 didn't look phenomenal on top of being a great game.
Definitely don't pre-order the game or trust EA to not mess something up but are we really gonna try and act all skeptical on whether the game is gonna look good lol? Even Battlefront as bad as it was still looked good.
I have no love for EA (they are trying to ruin Bioware whose games I love) but some of these hate trains y'all hoping on...

Really enjoyed the first two but wasn't sure if be picking up another entry. With this news though, I'm very interested as long as the career mode is well done.

@morganfell
I never said it invalidated any opinions it confuses me but I recognize many people have played and enjoyed many recent COD SP's. I do think there are better so options but that's just my opinion.

Honestly the "outrage" around this baffles me because especially on sites like this entire comment sections are full of people saying the campaigns are horrible just get rid of them. There are people truly upset at it's removal but I th...

This is just so disappointing. I liked State of Decay 1 and I like the Undead Labs guys but how can you release the game in this state? I'll probably still play it with Game pass at some point but man did they kill any chance of this game having success.

@spartan112g
I had not one single problem in my almost 200hour play through of Fallout 4 and I played day 1. I know not everyone had that experience but let's not act like it was a disaster for everyone.

@Old McGroin there's a difference between a fundamentally good game (Skyrim, Diablo 3, Arkham Knight) releasing with some unfortunate technical issues, or having a few bad features/ideas and those being fixed through some patches and this newer brand of GAAS that releases in a bare bone state and sometime six months, a year, or two later finally has the content that was promised, or finally has enough content to be a full $60 game.

I understand people's frustration with no campaign, millions of people play them every year (I don't personally but people do). I have no problem with a $60 MP only game IF and its a huge if those resources are truly used to make an incredible and content rich MP experience however I understand why people are reluctant to assume Activision is actually going to do that.

What I find hilarious tho are all the people upset at Activision for removing the SP, here on N4G ...

Black Ops 2 & 3 have two of the worst single player campaigns in a mp game I've ever played.

2817d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why when there are dozens of better single player games out there? I can name plenty of bombastic single player games better than any COD campaign ever made.

2817d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

@morganfell
That's not saying much tho. The last COD campaign i thought was worth playing over similar style single player games was Modern Warfare. Black Ops was good, Infinite Warfare was a step in the right direction still tho if I get get Infinite Warfare to play with my friends I'm gonna play multiplayer, but I'm not gonna waste my time with the campaign if I have something like Wolfenstein or DOOM.

I understand people's displeasure with the op...

Wow, never would have guessed Avalanche would be developing the game, interesting. Just started replaying Rage since it had been so long since I played it I've had Mad Max in my backlog for awhile seems like a good time to finally get to it.

Also interesting to see them working with a partner again. I believe the last game they published that a Bethesda owned studio didnt make was New Vegas? I hope that means we still have a chance to see a Fallout from Obsidian (I know...

Well if ID isn't making Rage 2 they are most likely making a new DOOM. DOOM was fantastic and of course did great commercially and critically. Rage while not really commercially or critically successful, had quite a lot of promise in my opinion and did some things really well.

Why not have sequels to both?? Bethesda the last 5 years or so has been making an effort to establish a catalog of single-player IP with each game and developer having a tone all it own. They'...
