I've met plenty of people who want nothing to do with SP games, I've met people who don't enjoy MP games and I've met people who play a healthy balance of both. A lot of people play video games and so you have a wide swathe of people who enjoy all sorts of things, I know that sounds crazy but it's true.

What is it with people and this overly childish, simple view of things? Apex isn't bigger than Fortnite, it's still doing fine or Dota 2 vs LoL League is still more popular doesnt mean Dota 2 is dead. Call of Duty regularly outsells Battlefield, does that make Battlefield less appealing or important?
I dont play Fortnite, but that's an incredibly narrow minded way of looking at things. I have a coworker, his wife bought him a switch and he has ended up playing a lot of Fortnite. Does he have serious mental issues because he doesnt adhere to your idea of the right games to play?

If someone is struggling than playing online is the least of their concerns, it's not really my problem if someone can't afford PS+. It becomes my problem when people who can create accounts all they like are allowed to ruin other peoples games with disruptive language or shitty behavior. I don't even know why I'm debating this with you, you've admitted to being a Sony weeb so this is all just a game to you.
I've had bad experiences with people on games that require +, but nothing compares to the negative experiences I've had with people on Apex on the PS4. To be honest, it reminds me a lot of my time playing Dota 2 and League of Legends and over the years I've come to believe that barriers to entry at least create some incentive for people to not act like garbage.

Try to refrain from speaking for everyone, for example you could say "Damn it, I hope this is only for certain enemies the difficulty is the main appeal of Souls games for me."
I love the people I meet when I play Apex Legends on Playstation who don't have PS+. It seems like whenever I have a bad experience with someone in Apex it's always some kid without plus and like 20ish games (mostly F2P) on their profile. If I could have an option to only match with people who had PS+, I would take it over playing with the peasants and the screechers who can't spend 60 dollars a year on +.
