You don't want to spend $1000+ USD on a PC? People who buy bare minimum PC's with 5500 XT's/ GTX 1650's etc are people setting themselves up for disappointment or like playing games at reduced settings and 1080p. There will always be a market for consoles or at least until something as simple takes its place and PC gaming is never going to be that.

Some games I enjoy playing on my PC, others I enjoy more on a console. Yakuza is on the PC, but I don't want to play it at my desk and while Civ6 might be on the consoles I'd really rather not play that on a console. People aren't all the same, it's absolutely mystifying to me that this community continues to believe everyone who plays games thinks and operates the same way.
A console is 400 to 500 dollars, I spent 900 CAD on my 2080 Super in August. That's not including my SSDs, Motherboard, Memory, CPU, PSU and case. My motherboard is more expensive than a PS4 Pro.
