They split the game up to get it done plain and simple, this isnt some grand conspiracy to squeeze out more money from consumers.

It's 26.99 CAD, the lack of Spec Ops sucks but 26.99 for a remastered campaign is absolutely fine if you're looking to replay MW2. The CoD4 remaster is still 49.99 CAD, and charges you an additional 19.99 for the Variety Map pack so comparing the two I'll take what they've done with MW2 over the remaster of CoD4 with new weapons and lootboxes.

In the standard multiplayer it's really not that prevalent.
A headset is like 500 dollars or even cheaper if you go with a Windows Mix reality headset, if you want to play it do it right. The game looks awful without the motion controls, that's pretty plain to see.
