I wouldn't imagine these are full fledged Nintendo games that get packed in. Probably closer to a tech demo, but who knows maybe they made a AAA game for every piece of cardboard they had sitting around their offices.
You're talking about a brand new IP, comparing it to the most popular franchise and video game character ever, with over 30 years of history. I don't think its a fair comparison, HZD did pretty well in my opinion.
I loved it on my pro. I kept it in unlocked mode the whole time, and it felt like it was holding 60fps with a few hiccups here and there. Ill take that any day over a higher resolution.
It will probably be substantially more expensive. I don't see a lot of sales on my switch either. Just a few useless $2-3 cuts to indie games.

Yes to this, unfortunately that'll never happen. They made way too much money from GTA5 to go back to the old ways of selling just games.

You're right, if it weren't for GTAO there wouldn't be any DLC releasing at this time, we might have actually got a game from them this generation.
The GPU got a 5X power increase. The CPU got something like 30% increase. The CPU's on all the new consoles are pretty weak, it's just not balanced.
Is it good now? Has it been good in the past? Those are some of the indicators you should be looking at, not just your blind Nintendo faith.
100% agree. They made most of my favorite games of the past few years. And Bethesda in general fills out another large chunk of that list. So glad there are publishers left that still make single player games, and I will buy whatever I can to show that there's still an audience for them.
I very much enjoyed my time with prey, it was good fun. That being said, there were a lot of things that were in shambles when the game released on PS4.
1. There were no dead zones on the analog sticks. My character would float off in whatever direction i pressed last.
2. There was a massive amount of input lag which they attributed to ( analog sensitivity) but clearly it was a delay in all actions on screen, granted it was remedied eventually. But their patch to fix...
These sales are very much in line with the holiday sales on consoles. They look almost identical to what I've seen.

Sad list compared to 2017, i suppose they can't claim games without release dates. Bayonetta 1+2 should be out, the 3rd one and metroid prime 4 are still probably a ways off.
It may have sold way more units and possibly made more money at a lower price. Its all speculation though, The reviews would have still been similar, but less harsh on the length. I guess we'll never know.
