Sorry to break it to you guys, but ubisoft if breaking the company apart.
The corporate guys are splitting away with all the big IP's. This is very bad news for the company and employees.
Hmm. I just canceled my PS Plus extra. I saw the almost $150 charge pending on my card and put a stop to it. I don't really play online, and the game selection has been a letdown lately.
This whole PS5 generation has been a huge letdown. They took the bait, and bet the whole farm on Games as a service, now they're all failing and being canceled. They were winning, but they saw fortnite making billions and greed got the better of them. How many bloodborne sequels coul...
Man, they fumbled so hard this generation. Who ever had the idea of 12 gaas titles at once should be fired, and publicly shamed. They're just lucky that everything MS touches turns to sh^t. I'm really hoping Nintendo can pick up the slack in the industry and force some competition out of the rest of them.
You should be well compensated for wasting your time on that woke overwatch clone. I feel like I'm owed money just for having seen previews... they should all be ashamed of themselves.
Yeah UBI sucks now. I loved the older style games, up to black flag. Then they kinda copied Dark souls combat a bit with origins, it was fun for a little, but the boredom set in fast. They're way too big, the writing is terrible. There's never a story or side character that's good enough to care about. It's all by the numbers, development by committee in a boardroom garbage in every title. Plus they all feel so similar and dumbed down. Even far cry here isn't fun wit...
Perfect Dark looks awesome! It's the first MS game I've had confidence in just from the trailer in generations! I'm definitely gonna give Indiana Jones a run on my Series S with Game Pass as well. Then abruptly cancel the subscription.
Big win for xbox...
Hell Divers 2 looks phenomenal! But I don't play those games, it just makes me worry that sony will double down on their commitment to GaaS and make a bunch of junk. I'm sure Bungie can pull it off, but the rest of their teams aren't built for it.
For sure. It's a brutal business! There's billions to be made, but the chance your game will actually hit is very low, even if it's fun. The streamers need to push it to the children like the first hit of crack.
Man, I miss the days of just buying amazing games for $60, playing it, then on to the next!
Yeah, Konami has fallen HARD! These big publishers need to make an effort to get back to the fun of gaming, maybe focus on smaller budget titles.
And when I say that, I mean like remake a few classic games, update MGS 4, Make some new IP that isn't 250 million dollars. Then up the budget from there.
Respect.
It's a cheap tablet and a $70 controller, not a chance it costs the same as the PS5. My guess would be 199-249.
Man, that's a good idea! Someone needs to make a game like this one in vr, smashing skulls would never get old.
IGN and most of the gaming sites operate on a 7-10 scale for grading, 7 being bad. This game may be great according to tastes, but their grading is not on an even 1-10 scale.
1993??? Zipper??? Haven? What does all of this equate to the market leading series call of duty? You're comparing literal nothings to the biggest game on the planet. And not just that game. It's 2 massive publishers and a mobile money making machine.
Yeah. They're both holding back announcements so they look like the poor underdog in litigation. Hopefully when it's all over we get a flood of games. There's gotta be some bright side to all of this BS.
@darth. Breech is when a baby is birthed backwards, and makes birth difficult and dangerous. Breach is probably the word you were looking for.
Looks like shit.
Market consolidation is bad in any business. The only ones benefiting are the huge corporations that own everything.
Is it good? It looked excellent from the trailers I saw! It looked like a better version of the modern fallout games. New Vegas and F3 some of my absolute favorites.
