You mean the "high quality settings" of Forza 7 and Killer instinct that barely make a high end PC flinch?
Matching an Xbox One X can legitimately be done with a $550 - $600 PC. A G4560 CPU handily beats the jaguar in the console and a GTX 1060 6GB allows 4K60 Ultra gameplay in Forza Motorsport 7.
Sometimes because the physics engine is tied to the framerate and the entire game speeds up if a target framerate is exceeded (like Need For Speed Rivals). Sometimes the engine starts to glitch when a very high framerate is reached (skyrim). Even the best engines need some kind of framerate cap, idtech 6 and Frostbite 3 are capped at 200.
Because games are even smoother at higher refresh rates than 60. It's something you need to experience first hand to appreciate.
Actually it's locked to the refresh rate of the monitor depending on the vsync settings. I have a 1440p 100hz monitor and the framerate is 100fps.
PS4 is a juggernaut. Haven't seen this kind of adoption rate since the PS2, really impressive.

Question is can an X match the functionality, flexibility and game library or a PC at any price.
Memorials in Video Games are a wonderful way of eternalising a person who had special significance to that particular game. Getting people to pay for that memorial and only donating a small portion of the proceeds to their grieving family is scummy and repugnant.
It's an Ubisoft game, you can be assured of a bad PC port.
As one would expect from a console which is one year later and $100 dollars more expensive. Just like why PC outclasses the X.
I wonder if this is why PS4 has received more HDR support in third party games than Xbox.
Plus the fact that Xbox has a preview program and PlayStation does not. The game will be in preview/early access for quite some time.

Sales of the S have fallen off a cliff lately. Maybe this will have a positive effect.
Good thing the community stepped in and patched it within days and continues to update their patch. The PC modding community embarrasses the paid devs once again.
