Maybe it's not the degradation in visuals that bothers them but rather the impact to performance and the fact the games runs well below 30fps in some areas.
I know people can be stupid sometimes but suggesting that all these problems are due to people not plugging the console in properly is a cop out.
It's being compared to PC lowest settings because that's the worst the game can look on any platform. The Switch still doesn't match it.
With a single 1080 or 1080ti is isn't hard to hit in this game.
If the game was 4K all the time in this game then I would be impressed but dropping down to 2688x1512 is disappointing dor "True 4K" console.
As low as 2688x1512 is 4K now I guess.
So none of these are 4K consoles. Gotcha.
PC gamers favour high framerate over high resolution, particularly in shooters. So not many will run it in 4K and will instead go with 1080p 144hz.
Goes down as low as 842p.
Also has no Ambient Occlusion that the PC version does.
You clearly haven't as all of those games run better on PC.
Currently playing Wolfenstein II at 1440p locked at 100fps completely maxed out. If that's what "never fully optimized" looks like, I'm cool with that.
"A camel is a horse designed by a committee".
I trust more in a person's singular vision for a game than in focused tested, watered down, trite we see too often in the AAA games market. Stick to your guns ND.
A high end PC doesn't run games at 30 frames per second
The campaign is going to suck and we all know it.
Interestingly the Xbox page for Evil Within 2 used to have badges for 4K Ultra HD and HDR for the Xbox One X verion but those have been removed.
Dynamic 4K even at 30fps...
It pays to wait.
There aren't many scored reviews. I think this is the 4th one.
Dropped to as low as 21fps, which is abysmal.
Games with gold got Gone Home. Let that sink in.
What they didn't mention is that they are also reducing the credit you earn from playing by 75%. They changed the amount of credit you get from completing the campaign from 20,000 to just 5,000. They effectively did nothing.
