Titan Fall isn't even Microsoft exclusive. It's only releasing on Microsoft consoles and PC, for now, but Respawn (The people who make the game) said a PS4 version isn't out of the question.

I hope this game is as gritty as the original comics. It's Nickelodeon, so I'm not holding my breath.
This:
I read somewhere recently, that journalists/reporters are often asked to play the devils advocate during interviews. I'm not saying this was the case but I would certainly suggest that if someone went on to talk positive about video games, that he might have a counter argument for that too.
I do wish someone would have brought up the role parents are supposed to play here. No CoD lobby should ever be filled with prepubescent children screaming obscenities at each other.
Microsoft will have to earn my trust back, but as far as exclusives go, Titanfall and Forza are also on that list of notable exclusives.
@tracyllrkn: Handheld what? I'm not gonna click disagree, but IMO, a handheld console is still a console.
As for the OT, the sexiest console ever made was the original NES. The cartridges fit inside the console behind a nice door, as opposed to sticking out of the top like the SNES, Genesis and N64 that followed.
The shape wasn't perfectly rectangle, so it was interesting to look at, but not so interesting that it looked like it didn't belong(I...
What made Wii so popular with casuals wasn't just the motion tech. The biggest selling point was the launch price of $250 usd. Casuals don't want to pay for a 'games machine' that costs $300+
Now, if the One could use that Windows kernel to run MS Office so kids can do their homework, parents would snatch those Ones up cause at that point, it wouldn't just be a console, but a cheap computer.
You can play one of those silly kinect games (like the one with the raft) on the 360 while you take a video call on the one!
If you got some kind of hdmi splitter could you watch tv while playing ps4?
This...
"/S" = "end sarcasm"
Crazy thing is, you're right. Whenever I'm on xbl with my friend talking about random stuff, he has to occasionally start yelling "cancel" at his kinect.
Last night was the best though because he said, " damn it man, I didn't even say xbox... sh!t, cancel!"

I don't think anyone will tell you that you traded 2 games for 1. After you elaborated, by my count, you've traded at least 6 games to get Crysis 3.
At least 2 to get Dishonored + $20

At least 2 to get Silent Hill

= Crysis 3
I totally understand not letting old games collect dust. If they're never going to be played again, of course...
@ kingdavid
The music only needs to be current to the time of release if the game isn't based in another decade like Vice City (1980's) or San Andreas (1990's).
IMO Mirrors Edge was way underrated. The only thing I found myself disliking about the game was having to get used to normal fps controls afterwards and I'd gladly put myself through it again for a sequel.
That reminds me of the bait and switch I used to pull as commander on bf2. Uav. - supply the enemy - hit them with artillery. The most kills I got at once was about 10-12. Good times.
IMO, it's easy to have a polished game when the last 4 iterations of the game were based of the same engine. Even then, every release still starts off as a glitch fest.
As for BF3, I suspect that the version we're playing is a really early build. I'm really not worried about the final product.
Initial sales, yes. The initial sales will take a hit for nothing more than ignorance. People are getting mad and swearing off battlefield because the beta has a ton of glitches. When the full game comes out and plays fine, word will get around and bf3 sales will be fine.
@Fanbot
Actually, Forza Motorsport 4 is supposed to be 60FPS. I have no clue about resolution though.
Also, as much as I love GT5, FM4 is really shaping up to give GT a serious run for it's money. If you own both consoles, I would definitely give FM4 a second look.
Console sales numbers are an inaccurate representation of their respective fanbase.
I'm on my 4th Xbox 360. That means there are 3 less people playing 360 than the numbers would indicate and I know I'm not the only one.
Same with ps3... I'm on my 2nd and, again,I know I'm not the only one.
