Exact same here! There were 3 game instances that changed the way I pursue games. E.T. was the first followed by Top Gun for the Nintendo and San Francisco Rush for the PS1. Since those fails, I refuse to buy a game before a review from from a trusted source or before I rent/borrow it.

Also, IMO, FM5 should have been $40 at the start. No public lobby system, half the cars of 4, motor swaps don't clarify where the motor came from, the whole part buying system has been slowed down so people who know what they're doing can't do so quickly, tuning gears is a joke with disappearing markers, all the cinematics turn a quick restart into a waiting game, you can't even properly stage a car for drag...

I find the inconsistency in car models to be annoying. In fvista mode, you can't get into the back seats on some of the 4door models and some hoods can't be opened. It sucks because my buddy LOVES the neon srt-4 and I can't make fun of the fact that only the front doors have power windows.
I get not porting over garbage, but the drop in content is so massive, I find it insulting to be offered(I'm not buying!) paid dlc.
My question is, can I use the xb1 or ps4 controller for chat alongside a keyboard/mouse for fps? I tried and returned a device last year because it had no jack for my 360 headset.

I don't see the problem here. It isn't a false statement.
Had they said, "sold out at ALL retailers..." or something to that effect, I would absolutely see an issue.
Granted, they could have said, "sold out at SOME retailers..." or "sold out at MANY retailers...", but that's too honest and entirely not how PR works.

I'm sorry if I struck a nerve with you. I didn't mean to imply that he (or anyone) should be okay with a poor launch. You're right! If someones work is garbage they should be dealt with accordingly.
Also, I certainly recognize that some jobs don't have set hours. Hell, I've seen leadership in previous jobs work upwards of 80 hours per week, and that sucks!

It makes me glad I never pursued programming or game development. When my work day is over, nobody expects me to go work some more beyond my shift.

About skype as a chat option, does skype have to remain snapped, or can it be hidden behind the full screen game?
My girlfriend and I are truly excited for this! After reading through all the bad news about low resolution compared to competition and Forza having fewer cars than the original, it's nice to see some genuinely good news. It's also exciting for me to have my girlfriend be excited about something geeky!
The only thing Resogun needs that their previous game had is an option for 3D. Regardless, Resogun is great fun!
@Chris558: You could spend $800 on a 400hz 1080p TV, but you would be stuck with a plasma TV with a horribly dim and overly glossy screen.
3d isn't as expensive as so many people think. I've seen smart passive 3d TVs go for $10 - $20 more than their non-3d counterparts.
Personally, I love my 3d TV. I don't watch a lot of 3d movies mainly because I don't buy/rent movies often, but I LOVE games in 3d. I hope at least Resogun is 3d for now. Fro...
If Bing gives you more accurate and relevant results, why isn't it the one you primarily use?
Personally, I haven't given Bing a fair shot, so I couldn't say which I find better. Just always used Google since about 2004 or 2005.
Personally, I'm more inclined to pick Titanfall up for PC simply for keyboard and mouse support. I like console gaming for the most part and if I can, I'd like to own both for the console exclusive experiences, but I'd be all in if they (the console developers) would just enable KBM support across the board.
Also, some people seem to think you need to be lurched forward at a desk to play on a Keyboard and mouse, but I play with KBM laid back on the couch just fine...

On 360, you could choose whether to install a disc. Why not make One have the option to enable/disable 'license lock'?
License lock require the disc to enable and would bring back family share, online check-in, and all the other features we love to hate.
Releasing the license would require one last check-in after which, all shared games would be invalidated and...
I can see how some people might be, but I paid $500 and I'm not at all pissed. They're not gonna sell kinect for any less than $150 and I'm hearing $400 for XB1 core. I got the complete experience for at least $50 less.
