Well F that. Not paying 60$ for a title screen. And EA titles screens are the worst.

3048d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Dollar/hour perhaps but no...you pay 60$ whats that for exactly?

I liked the first a lot too. Those creatures at the end are my favourite...really changed the gameplay for me.
Really cool too.

The second for me, since i replayed it a year ago or so, was a letdown. Story wise it was, still is, the best. But I seriously had a problem with the gameplay...so many waves of enemies. Same problem I had with UC4 actually, too much climbing and too much repititive boring encoounters...not to mention nade spamming.

Have...

Thats what I feel as well.
We were playing no one lives forever, perfect dark and tomb raider without issue...suddenly feminists come out complaining not enough women in games. At the same time many games allow you to create your character however you wish...but clearly not enough.

Now they want to add mental illnesses to the diversity pool.

When will it end!!

Actually I never talked about character development in my comment. So I cant be wrong about something i didnt get into in my comment. I talked about the story surrounding the character which includes development as characters do not develop on their own....events trigger development.

A gaint bomb indeed.

What financial ways is what im wondering about.
They make many millions and if MTs have been making them more then what the make from selling the game then damn theyre making buttloads of cash. Maybe the higher ups should stop lining their pockets with so much cash and let that trickle down to the actual hard workers.

Only if you want to make it less accessible to gamers in general.
The mass market will flock to the more affordable system.

Many gamers already think twice about purchasing a 60$ game. Let alone a 80$ or 100$ game.

The pay to win is tied to the microtransactions. So if those are removed the pay to win is gone. At least for now.
So the title of this article is wrong.

The progression system was the way it was because of the MTs...with those MTs gone, for now, then they should reconstruct the progression a little but if they dont its up to them.

There would be if thats what people cared about.
We dont care about diversity. Just good games. You want a lead indian chick thats fine but make it a good game first and foremost. Nobody identifies with these characters...they can perhaps identify with the story surrounding the character but not with the physical appearance of the character.

Same with movies. You dont watch them because you identify with the lead roles. You watch it for the story.

Good to hear

They are horrible game design. Unless you dont mind game breaking rng and complete destruction of ingame immersion. IE bad game design.

Again. Yes other games have had lootboxes. This IS radically different. P2W is radically different.

Some people are that delusional it appears.

What the heck.!
Simoen has to be getting paid to write these BS articles. I don't believe anyone can actually be this dumb on their own...

There are already versions of games that cost thus much anyways.

Stop the BS spreading. There is no need for MTs and no need to raise prices. Higher price of games has been balanced by higher audience of people that purchase games. It's fine.

Star wars universe never mentions any cards. Progression should be through normal leveling or something like that. Force power or force aptitude etc. Magical cards are never shown in star wars so no they do not belong.

Credits and purchasable weapons and upgrades or accessories I understand... But they should've created an actual storefront like with pod racer.

Not true. The majority buy the games that are most public.... Hardcore gamers are the ones that buy less popular mainstream titles, which star wars is clearly not. Which means that the devs making smaller titles, not as widely known as star wars, will make sure to be careful.
