It was blatantly obvious that not all games would be 4k...but wasnt at all surprising to see certain people jump on that fact like it was something "new" and unexpected.

I dont think I'll get an X but probably a pro. With that in mind if youre a console gamer the XboX is definitely a must buy at least for the 3rd Party and if thats not enough you got some console exclusive games there that are MP based and offer a lot of gameplay and replay value. Theres also single player experiences that are worth a go.

I personally dont think we even needed mid gen consoles. These consoles are many times more powerful then last gen and last gen was no joke. So. Yea. This could and should last a while.
It aint about graphics and if people are fine with Uncharted 4 level of graphics then they should be fine for a good long while as it will only get more fine tuned and improved moving forward.

Forza 7 and Middle Earth are both 4k native. As announced anyway.
This means they have brought native 4k to AAA games. Some lunatics may feel lied to but the facts remain.

The X can and will do native 4k. On all games? Of course not, nobody expected such. And it will likely not do 4k for games 3-5 years from now.

If you dont own a capable pc at all in the sense that you would have to upgrade pretty much every component then get an X. IT will be a lot cheaper.
In the long run the PC would be cheaper but you wont see the savings until 5+ years from now or once next gen hits.
The current halo is no big deal unless youre in love with the multiplayer aspect, in which case then its a must buy.
All in all with Xbox you wont have to worry about losing y...
