They already are. Naughty Dog isnt one not to get the graphics as good as possible on the system. As time goes by techniques and engines will improve and it will help push graphics and texture quality even more.
FPS is ruler of all. Resolution is second.Id rather they keep resolution steady instead of pushing the 4K thing which few tvs take advantage of anyway. Theres alwasy supersampling of course.

And moving forward I imagine many devs will use this technique. It is just as important for devs to get their games to "4k" as it is for consoles. How good a game looks is a selling feature. Cant believe how many people wanted Star Wars Battlefront 1 simply because of how good it looked.

The problem is there is no such true 4k system. If you want all games at 4k. You have to spend thousands. My pc can do all games at 1080p but it used to be that it could do most at 1080p so what kinda of pc was it? Was it no longer a 1080p machine because it missed the mark on newer games?
Same with the Xbox.
It is capable of 4k but will need help with other games to achieve that. As it has always been. True 4k will depend on the game and the devs....

I have an !5 right now. I know theyre more capable. But still. These games dont require that much. I think its interesting theyre not sure about resolution but definitely not 60fps. Im pretty sure it could do 1080p 60 fps.
their responses clearly show they just have no intention of trying to get it to 60fps and like I said...likely because of the lowest denominator. The standard xbox one
