This is a great move by Microsoft. A much cheaper next gen console & then the more powerful Xbox Series X with disc drive priced the same as the PS5 without a drive. This was planned all along in my opinion.

I'm sure 3rd party studios will work it out themselves if it would be profitable for them.
You have to look at it lots of ways.
If a new 3rd party was coming out, having a couple of million off Microsoft for it to be on Gamepass for the 1st month could be part of the advertising budget for example.
These big companies ain't going to just throw them on Gamepass on a whim, they know what they're doing.
Xbox Series X for me, I want it mainly for Gamepass as I can play all the Microsoft exclusives the first few months after buying it without spending £200+ for 4 or 5 new games.
Plus I want the most powerful console. Can't wait for a new Forza Horizon further down the line.

This is typical of Microsoft, I can't use my Xbox One controller on my New machine. The console will come with 1 controller so I will have to stump up another £60+ just so I can play against my family.
