It's just ridiculous value. People who say they prefer to buy their games & then criticise Gamepass I really don't understand. You can still buy your games. Gamepass is such a good deal especially if you shop around for the best price. I recently got 12 months of Gamepass for £49.
So I like to think I'm paying under £5 a month for a service that I can demo hundreds of games to see if it's worth buying any of them.
Abizzel1, how can you expect them to have expansion if they can't make Xbox Series fast enough. They are sold out constantly. You can't walk into any shop in the UK & see one in stock to buy.
Plus Gamepass is on 28 million subscribers Microsoft must be well happy with that number.
Plus as everyone on here likes to point out there's literally No Exclusive games, what happens when they start dropping.

There was a good article on Windows Central quite recently that explained how Microsoft Gamepass isn't the huge loss maker ppl think. It was a great read, I'd post the link but I can't seem to find it now.
I'm paying £49 for a whole year for ultimate. If I stop paying one day even if its in 5 years it don't matter, its the same as Netflix. I can still buy games that I want to keep.
Isarai why do ppl upgrade their PCs. They still play last year's games but with much better performance. I missed tons of Xbox One games, now I can catch up & play them at a higher resolution as much as 4k & some run at up to 120fps.
Gamepass is awesome
Xbox Series X with Gamepass is amazing value. I recently bought a Series X & Gamepass, all those hundreds of games plus every new Microsoft exclusive going forward will be on there day one.
I could never go back to paying £50+ for a new release.
If Gamepass was only on PS5 I would have bought a PS5.

I bought an Xbox Series X just for Gamepass. Gamepass is an absolute bargain. I play a ton of updated for Series X games.
When I had my old Xbox One do you actually think I bought every game for it that would eventually come to Gamepass. There's a ton of amazing games I missed.
I thought ppl upgraded their PCs to play their games at the higher settings.
The Xbox Series S is a great little machine. It's £259 in the UK if you can find one. I think Microsoft could be onto a winner with this console as I'm sure it won't take to long to get the price of it down to £199 & then eventually £149. Bundled with a 1 month free Gamepass subscription it could become a great seller.

That's impressive numbers especially as you still can't buy a Series X anywhere. I'm in the UK & have looked practically everyday on multiple sites.
So now there's 5 or 6 games worth bothering about but the rest are Mediocre.

I don't agree with the comments that Gamepass is not sustainable & they will have to increase the price. I also don't believe that the quality of the games on Gamepass will eventually go down.
Microsoft has 23 million subscribers to Gamepass right now if they were all paying £10 a month thats 230 million pound per month!
There's huge room for getting way more subscribers with PC & Xbox plus streaming to phone, PC, Tvs, Tablets etc. Imagine the money ...
I can't recommend Gamepass enough. There's just so many games & it just keeps getting better every month. Microsoft Flight Simulator is hopefully on it later this year, its a game I'd like to have a try of but something I'd never spend £50± on. Gamepass I'll get the full game, its amazing value if you love games.
Gamepass is amazing. The thing is at my local Game store recently Outriders was £54.99 Gears Tactics was £49.99 & Dirt 4 was £39.99.
I have all 3 games loaded on Gamepass plus about 10 others with hundreds of other games to chose from. This cost me £49 for Gamepass Ultimate for a year which I got on Ebay.
