To be honest, even up till the American Civil War, swords or bayonets were still commonly used. The rifles were not as efficient as today as they needed manual cleaning and reloading that took quite long to do. As for the pistols and revolvers, their range were hardly great. Not to mention, these guns are extremely loud.
For assassinations, a silent hidden blade does the job best.
LOLwut? Rodrigo Borgia was probably the most corrupt pope in history. He was hardly beneficial to their nations. He made history due to how notorious he was.
lol Akiba you clueless guy. Jerusalem, Damascus, Acre and Masyaf are in the Middle East not North Africa.
I was hoping then next setting would be in Victorian England or Feudal Japan.
announception.
Not really since we can't understand japanese.
Arnagrim, its true that Kingdom Hearts story isn't among the best in the JRPG genre, especially compared to 90s JRPGS.
However it is A LOT better than most contemporary JRPG stories out there.
I would agree that most of the characters in the KH series are quite cliche but not one dimensional (except perhaps Sora who is immune to being bad or sad).
Also, while it may appear as though the story "is-made-up-as-we-went-al ong" you s...
Look, its true that KH2's story was convoluted.
The whole identity mystery of Xehanort and the whole Roxas and Namine subplot and the real Ansem's backstory did make things confusing but it was no way bad.
Also, the story would be really confusing if you did not play Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories which is set in between KH1 and KH2.
It was a very entertaining story and kept me wanting to find out what happens next. The only boring...
I think people disliked the story in Kingdom Hearts 2 for it can be quite confusing.
Arguably, KH2 had the best story, which I agree with.
KH1 felt quite bland and the story was so simple. KH2 was a bit of a Nomura style overkill but it was much more entertaining than KH1.
What KH2 lacked in was its gameplay. It was too easy that it became a button masher. It's a shame because KH had some great action like Limit Breaks, Drive Forms, Summo...
It's obviously a new Pokemon game for 3DS.
According to IGN the story isn't anything too special.
I'm under the impression that The Last Story isn't a better game than Xenoblade.
Predictions for the next Square conference:
Kingdom Hearts 3D will obviously be showcased. Probably a proper demo and another trailer.
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Volume 2 may be announced for Vita? If not a KH game, then perhaps a Final Fantasy game? Final Fantasy Type-1?
A trailer of Final Fantasy X HD. This is very likely.
A trailer of Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Also likely. But could they announce a release date (at lea...
The 3D sections weren't terrible.
Sonic Gen is pretty much the best 3D Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2.
I think Lara's voice was always meant to be British since she herself has British origin.
A bit too late now.
lol they didn't redub Xenoblade with American accents as far as I know.
Why would they need to redub anyway? It's not like the British accent is incomprehensible to Americans.
Personally I liked MGS2's story more than MGS3's due to its huge depth in social and philosophical themes.
But MGS3 is still an amazing game. The CQC and enemy AI are really good. Not to mention, the huge emphasis on survival.
I must be seeing things.
I played both versions. I have to say that indeed the 3DS version looks like it has been upgraded graphically.
If only it had the same level of anti-aliasing as the HD version.
But graphics is not the only difference. MGS3D has the crouch-walk from MGS4 and Peace Walker! No more having to crawl through grass in annoying first person view!
ALSO, it has the same third person shooting mechanics from Peace Walker! No longer having to aim in firs...

@ mynameisevil, nobody is hating america. It's just enough games have had settings in America.
People just want a new or original setting. And nobody is saying the game will turn out bad. It's just an expression of disappointment.
But I guess we should have expected this since Desmond ends up at the entrance of a vault in New York by the end of ACR.
