I always wondered when they would bring Fantasia into Kingdom Hearts. It's just a perfect type of setting with its heavy musical themes.
Hopefully we won't have to wait till September before it comes out?
Considering each Final Fantasy game is unique, unrelated story-wise, and evolving in every iteration, I would say it's careless to claim that the FF franchise has been exhausted.
Of course, this doesn't count the FF games are FF12.
Lost Odyssey was hardly bad. It had great gameplay that was very reminiscent of old FF games.
It's main story was medicore but that "thousand year of dreams" story you get to read every now and then throughout the game was really good.
Still, LO is loads better than FF13 and FF13-2.
They changed the design of Sonic in this episode. He now looks like Sonic from the mainstream series.
At least this time the rage is justifiable.
There's no way in hell that Skyward Sword deserves a 4.
Don't even bother giving that site the luxury of hits.
Raiden vs. Ryu.
Who wins?
Ubisoft CEO has confirmed it had been in development for 3 years.
AC2 was in development for 2 years and it turned out amazing. Imagine a new AC game with three years of development.
The author doesn't seem to know that Assassin's Creed III has been in development since the release of Assassin's Creed II.
Which makes me have confidence because if Ubisoft took two years to make Assassin's Creed II (which was amazing) and only a single year each to bring out Brotherhood and Revelations then imagine what they could show with three years worth of development.
yeah this is definitely to do with the leaked files from weeks ago.
Will Jaffe ever just stfu and get on with developing games quietly. I'm starting to believe that either he's insecure or he's doing all this to drag attention to his game.
I haven't played Radiant Historia and Dark Cloud 2 but I believe Chrono Trigger go through a number of time periods.
There's prehistoric time where people lived like cavemen.
There's the ancient past where people lived in the sky.
There's the medieval-esque period where Marle's ancestors ruled.
There's modern period where Crono was born.
There's the time period where Lavos appears
And finally the post-apocaly...
I agree with Lord Sloth. I bet the non tech-savvy Apple product loving people never even heard of Steve Jobs until his death was sensationalised by the media.
Not to say he is some sort of villain, of course it was the complete opposite, he was a pioneer in his field.
But it just reminds me of the "arrow in the knee" fad where people joined in and just jumped on the bandwagon without even knowing the full story.
lol I had made the comment before I finished reading but yes you're right.
It makes sense since a remake would take a lot more resources considering the number of titles Square is currently developing.
We still don't know if this is a HD remaster or a proper HD remake.
My money is on the former. With development of Versus, KH3D, Final Fantasy 3DS/Vita, I doubt this will be a full scale remake.
And also, FFX is pretty enough without a lift in graphics quality. The two games in real need of remakes are Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy VII.
Umm, wrong link?
Wow this game looks good.
A game that plays like Fable but is better than Fable, eh.
My top five:
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy VI
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy IV
British voices again. Haha.
That is completely possible if Square gets its ass together.
A prequel similar to Crisis Core for the Vita about Jecth, Braska and Auron's pilgrimage to Zanarkand to destroy Sin. Jecht should be the main character and we basically see his journey of how he was transported from Fake Zanarkand to Spira. Jecht encountering Braska and Auron. Jecht's relationship with Auron. Braska's sacrifice to turn Jecht into the final aeon. Jecht's final boss battle with Sin. T...
