@JackBNimble I could buy a gamer not being able to distinguish between 60 and 120fps, but between 30 and 60? GTFO, that difference is BLINDINGLY obvious.
Obviously 60fps is optimal, but I have no problem with 30fps as long as those are ROCK SOLID 30fps. If it's 30fps with performance dips, that's straight-up unforgivable. And yes, I DO think that 30fps does have a more cinematic feel than 60fps, since we're used to 24fps being the standard frame rate of commercial movies. I remember when The Hobbit came out and it was shown at 45fps in various big screenings and people felt off about it.

I would add that the Epic Store has a steady stream of free games, releasing a new one every couple of weeks. My game library's gotten pretty beefy from that.
I don't know what the hell happened to Ubisoft's pirate game. People loved the pirating in Black Flag so much that Ubisoft haf announced they were gonna make a full-on pirate game separate from the Assassin's Creed franchisen but it's been years since then and we've seen nothing of it. That sucks, that was one game I was rooting for.

As we we're all expecting, this awards show was the great TLOU2 circle jerk, no surprises there, but one of TLOU2's wins made me VISCERALLY angry. BULLSHIT did TLOU2 deserve Best Audio Design, that award belonged to DOOM ETERNAL, period.

Fyi, this is NOT DRM, so you can relax. This is to catch cheaters during crossplay, specifically guys on PC who use lag switchers, hacks and aimbots and stuff. I personally applaud this, cause one of the more valid arguments against crossplay is that the PC gamer crowd is full of guys who cheat. This even applies to games otuer than FPSs, as anyone who's played Dark Souls on PC can attest to.
