yeah, but thats what usually happens... all the games that get released early in the year get overshadowed by our short attention span and new releases....
although uncharted more than deserved it last year.

as far as i know any xbox made since like jan 09 should be just fine as far as reliability is concerned. i gon mine in june of last year, the red resident evil one to be exact.

i have killzone and i upgraded to a 500 in december and somehow those saves managed to make their way onto my new drive....
oh and bigpappa there is a built in backup and restore utility, and if you use that you will not loose any saves as long as you restore to the same playstation, but if you just stick a flash drive in and try to copy those saves that way... well thats a no go.
with my 500 i have almost 300 gbs left i have a hard time filling it..
think of it this way
its 5 years down the road and your feeling nostalgic, you want to play that game that you always used to play, but surprise that once great multiplayer is all gone (servers shut down..) and all your left with is a piece of SH*T single player that lacks substance and is criminally short.

yeah i know ive only had more time lately cause im only working part time now..... layoffs ftl....
yeah, i know.... just cherry pick the good ones.... all ive bought for fps's in the last year and a half is chroncles of riddick (never played the original), Killzone 2, modern warfare 2 (bought into the hype... was disgusted traded it in 4 days later), and bad company 2,
i am however highly anticipating MOH because if they nail the atmosphere and feeling of that last trailer.... i love games that push the boundaries of the narrative/immersion, and make you feel.
you just log into your account on their ps and download your stuff... easy peasy. just remember to not save your password cause you need to leave your account on your friends system for the content to work. note that you can only do this with 5 systems.

why is it that everyone in this thread only think of ME2 when it comes to bioware games? i mean honestly baulders gate, neverwinter nights, kotor.. mm awesome game, jade empire, dragon age- all of those are most definitely rpgs (really good ones too)
oh and btw dragon age is more rpg than most rpgs........

they do and i do believe dragon age is very very rpgish, so i think its safe to say that they are still credible rpd devs. i agree with them to a point about ff13.
anywho while i think this comment was unnecessary i dont however think they are even nearing turn tens level of absurdity, and its not like ME2 and ff13 are competing for the same audience anyway.
well to be honest to say that bioware doesnt have the right to say that after ME2 is a little ignorant because just MONTHS before that they released dragon age, and dragon is most definitely an rpg (really good one too) anyway i think of mass effect as a new breed of rpg "rpg shooter" which is for the people who dont give a damn about stats but still have control over the story.

well i wouldnt really call them extremely different... aside from atmosphere/era and weapons there really isnt much difference between them, so how is that any different than changing the color or different songs?
oh and ive played both of the ps2/original xbox cods, cod 2,3,4,5,6, and i recently purchased classic- so essentially ive played them all.
yeah i know what you mean, i dont want some company holding my hand while i use what i rightly paid for... im gonna use it however and whenever i feel like, and the publisher/dev can go f*ck themselves for all i care if thats how they wanna be.
