well they released a patch to make them a little bit more responsive, but they were still far from being cod like at all.
they still have more of a weighty feel than any other game.

more active consoles perhaps?
free rentals?

yeah, they nailed the game mechanics... but graphics, atmosphere, and story all sucked

fact: the ps3 has outsold the 360 worldwide for the vast majority of its life.
apple: overpriced constricting and proprietary but well made devices see: ipad....
microsoft: often late to the game with devices and features: see zune and windows 7, windows phone 7. spotty reliability: see xbox 360 and most versions of windows before win 7. but they do however strike gold every now and then and make highly compelling products: windows 7, xbox live, and the latest zune

and somehow an android or blackberry phones arent? both of which have the ability to have all things facebook/myspace/twitter/flick r/email pushed to them, and no not just status updates (myspace/facebook) but videos and pictures.... in fact my phone syncs myspace/facebook status updates and pictures to my contacts.....

no they cut it because one of their content providers was bitching about being able to watch hulu on your tv via ps3 (negates the need for cable/satelite somewhat)

seriously aside from their arrogance and misteps in 06 and early 07 the only other differences from this gen and last gen is that the competition has removed their head from their asses.... really guys its not sony doing bad its microsoft and nintendo NOT doing bad this time around.

yeah no problem. i used to want an iphone for the same reasons, but im on sprint so i got an ipod touch instead. after a few months of ownership it got stale you have to dig deep if you want to find any of the truly great apps (although android is getting like that as more apps hit the market) i will say it is a great mp3 player if you dont mind itunes. when time came for my upgrade i grabbed the hero, and while i have wasnt impressed with earlier android phones (G1) i was thoroughly impresse...
if i were you i would check out the htc incredible, its one sexy ass phone.
for me personally though im waiting for the htc evo 4g.
