well on fb at least you can block the application. i used to get 20-40 notifications for farmville, mafia, etc every day now i get none!
well i didnt say it would be practical, or worth it for the few extra capabilities core gamers would care about, but if you have a family then its just extra.
personally i dont think ill get kinect, until they show some really ground breaking uses for serious games i dont think its worth it... and i was mildly optimistic before e3.... :(
however move does look like its certainly capable but... BUT i fear it will ultimately suffer the same fate simply because ...
obviously for serious games kinect will be used in conjuction with the controller.

woah, the ps3 does that, hell the ps2 did that... when i was cleaning my phat ps2 i accidentally damaged the fan, so i rigged it with a cpu fan out of an old pc i had. it had to be plugged into the wall- i added a toggle switch to the ac adapters line and if i forgot to turn the fan on my ps2 would shut down within 5 minutes and the light would blink.
so i find it amazing that the 360 didnt have this capabi...

well it *technically* doesnt rrod anymore... but instead it rlod, because they changed the general hardware failure error code to one light instead of the ring.
if you take care of it you should be fine with the current models (id wait just a bit to see how the slim does) just install all of your games to reduce heat and wear and tear from the disk drive and keep all the vents clear.
care to pony up some proof of those claims?.......
and im to assume that you think the ps3 doesnt fail at all then.. ylod is just a little more common than it should be just so you know... so although not nearly as prevalent as rrod was its still not acceptable.

well in my case ive been wanting to make my xbox wireless (currently use the internet sharing feature through my laptop via cat5) and im running out of space.
this is how im looking at it: gamestop will give me 180ish for my console, hdd, and one controller. the slim 360 is 299, the wireless n adapter is 99, and the 250gb hdd is 129.....
so you do the math, in the end IF i do end up getting a bigger hdd and wifi for my xbox i will save alot of money by tradi...

why would they still hate him? (he did deserve it though, but HE APOLOGIZED ON STAGE!) valve's games were always desired and recognized to be good (half life 1&2 and portal are some of my favorite games), the fact that the ps3 either didnt get them or they got a horrible port, and his constant insulting were the reasons for the hate.. so with all of those issues gone and him admiting he was wrong (while clearly being very nervous) was enough for me to forgive hi...

you dont have to recreate the whole game in 3d.... all the assets(basically the stuff that fills up the disk): levels, sound, textures, character models are the same. but there might be a different executable for 3d and 2d, or at least different settings.
so uh what extra space is needed?
