Meh. They're right about it being unbalanced. I'm not sure unbalanced is the right way to describe it, but at this point it's pretty difficult for newer players to reach the top tier on the rewards. They say their working on a new rewards system, so no need to panic.
They don't even say in the article by what measure it's in decline? I'm not going to give them a click to find out. I'd guess maybe month over month sales, but being sold out that isn't an indication of anything but a supply shortage.
Making a new version along with changes to production is all about cost cutting. If the original design was working fine, there's no reason to redesign any of it to only make it better.

I have always said I'm fine with $70 games for next-gen, but if they're going to make them cross-gen, it isn't truly next-gen. If that's what they want to do, they should be $60 and work on either system. This whole thing is just a stupid mess.

It was showing the Regalla edition as out of stock when I went through the links on the blog, so I ordered the CE. Then I read the comments and someone provided a link that showed it as in stock so I ordered through that and cancelled the CE.
Because I like to look at boxes on my shelf that contain tangible goods, not just, you know, an empty box. I'm a game collector, not a box collector.

I'd be fine with faster load times (to deal with the crashes that still happen) and pushing the poor LOD and NPC pop-in points further out (or just get better LOD so the character pop-in isn't a thing anymore).

It's one thing to hop over a small obstacle to see what might be hiding behind it, but there's often pretty large areas that damn near any other game would just block you from even accessing. I started playing it on PS5 about 10 days ago. It isn't all that bad right now. It's a lot of little things that don't matter, except for it crashing now and then. It seems to do a lot of auto-saves but I do a lot of manual saves as well just to save myself time if I did spotted or fail a breach or something. The save process is SUPER fast and can probably be done from the time you hit the menu button to back in the game in like 2-3 seconds.

Under what world would this be first party in any way? Arcane is not a Sony developer. It's releasing on a Sony system. When MS bought them is irrelevant. Or do you consider MLB The Show 21 a first party game on Xbox?
