Good, just focus on a challenging game with excellent combat, and a deep, lore-rich single player experience. All we want, I promise.
Why the megaphone? This isn't important.
It looks beautiful and boring.
Exclusives are very important and BC is a great feature. Nobody should have the attitude that only one is necessary. At this point both should be available.
I see a lot of Sony fans (one in this thread) arguing that omitting BC won't affect PS5 sales. That isn't the point. Fans should ask for everything within reason. BC at this point is certainly within reason.
Oh, brother. It's not really about Xbox's influence, but more about fan service. PlayStation has a massive library across all four consoles thus far, and it would serve their audience well if there were backward compatibility.
I do think, however, that comparisons would be drawn if Microsoft kept BC alive and Sony skipped over it. You're right that in the long run, PlayStation will outsell Xbox, but that isn't the point.
Never sell yourself short. I agree with the sentiments of "stick with what you're good at" though.
I can't imagine it being horrifying in any way either. You need a big screen and privacy for that.
Goddammit.
Hell, they've even enhanced some some OG titles.
That's a good point as well.
Every generation should be compatible.
Agreed. Not only from a technical standpoint, but because the competition has done it so well. Every generation, all the way back to the original Xbox (through emulation or otherwise) is currently compatible with Xbox One, so that's definitely something Sony should look into if they want to be competitive in that area.
Nice little show there, but the game just looks so whatever-ish. I'd play it for maybe two days and I'd get sick of it. I can already tell. If you ever felt burned by Destiny, you're probably going to avoid this.
I hope so. This is my most anticipated game. I definitely see it releasing this year. With the new console generation around the corner, I'm pretty sure they'd want to release it before 2020, as it's been advertised so far as a PS4 game.
Everyone has personal bias. It's natural and inescapable. I prefer my family over someone else's family for obvious reasons. That's a bias that I have.
If you went on a case-by-case or game-by-game basis, you could improve your opinion with specificity. That would be more acceptable. The term "decent" comes off as exactly what it means. No better than alright. Judging by the footage, I'd say it looks better than alright.
My personal enthusiasm breakdown:
Right now I'm looking forward to Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II, immensely. Days Gone and Death Stranding are interesting, but I'm not doing jumping jacks for these games, but that could change. Erica definitely looks good. I've never heard of it before. Looks like story-driven gold from what I could see, so that's now on the radar.
Definitely looks like a good year for PlayStation.
Four is just over the top and I doubt this is true.
It's never Nintendo's for the taking. They may put out a quality exclusive from time to time, but not often enough. They can't match PlayStation, and they can't match Xbox's online and services.
Though I'm glad Nintendo is still around, I left them after GameCube. Zelda and Mario weren't cutting it anymore.
Of course not. They're baiting, but I ain't clicking.
So anyone who looks forward to the next generation is "desperate" for this generation to be over? Does that apply to people looking forward to PS5 as well?
Gotcha.
