For this generation of gamers, this is all 'normal' and 'expected.' It's pathetic. Six years. SIX YEARS of development time and people are reporting catastrophic nonsense like enemies disappearing, constant server crashing, audio malfunction, and a lot more from what I've read.
$63 for an unprofessional, incomplete product.
I believe it. I remember telling N4G that the train in RDR2 no longer existed in the game world and few believed it. The station tellers didn't function either. It was fantastic.
I'm sorry you bought the game. Hopefully it gets fixed and you can salvage some satisfaction from it.
Everything is a waste of time. Literally. It's up to you whether or not certain waste-of-time activities are enjoyable to you. If they are, then that time wasted is justified.
That's the perfect name for an engine powering a Halo game.
You're way too protective when it comes to this game's reputation. The court of public opinion is pretty firm on the matter of Anthem, and you ARE an outlier.
Hey, enjoy the game if you can, but you're not doing anyone (especially yourself) any favors.
Shameless.
Agreed. Over the last five years, I've totally gone the way of single player. I'll play a match of CoD every now and then, but my online days are pretty much over. My interest in them died after the first Titanfall, which I played heavily for awhile. The golden age of game chat is over, and everyone's in their safe space of four in party chat. I'm not a fan of BR either. The joy of MP FPS is simply dead for me, but it had a good run.
That said, I'm still...
No. I'm enjoying it, but it really isn't all that interesting. Definitely not memorable in any sense. If they don't do away with the series altogether, I'd like to see some real innovation with it.
I know Crackdown is what makes Crackdown, Crackdown, but the series isn't all that popular, so I think they can afford to take risks with the next game if there is one.
Well deserved 10 million. Fantastic game. For Guerilla's first venture outside of Killzone they did a bang-up job. They're a proven developer now.
Why not?
"Oh god"
Lol.
Looking forward to it. I expect to see a good amount of gameplay, and a deeper dive into the game's systems.
Everyone who works, has a healthy social life, a marriage and children has a backlog. It's impossible not to. It's impossible not to have a backlog WITHOUT all that.
Not Metro Exodus.
"How do you change a franchise that much it doesn't feel like its previous"
This is the problem this genre faces now and in the future. The Division, Halo, Destiny, all have to remain The Division, Halo, and Destiny, but they must also be kept fresh. You have to adhere to the original game, while expanding on it and building on it. This is a very hard thing to do without changing the fundamental aspects.
How do you sell "The Division&qu...
I think people are becoming more weary of these games in general. That's not say that shared world shooters or multiplayer shooters are dying, but people are becoming more wary of the general business model associated with these types of games, and the fact that many of these games are grindy looter-shooters. People are asking: How many of these games do we need?
You could apply a similar argument to story-driven single player games, but these games tend to be more uniq...
This.
That's what I've been hearing.
This device is not for 'gamers.'

Oh come on. That's an idiotic comment. You're enjoying it that's fine, but if others didn't that doesn't make them "idiots."
Don't let the negativity surrounding the game get you frustrated causing you to lash out and make stupid comments. Enjoy it if you can, but from what I've heard, the negativity is justified.
