You like dieing 10 times to get through a game? I don't have the time. PS3 games are tailored to me because I'm a University student with no free time during the semester. I want short, epic cinematic games that I can enjoy like a movie.

I'm in school when this comes out, all I want is a short epic story that I wouldn't mind replaying.
Even if the gameplay doesn't hold up, it's a cinematic experience which is perfect for what I need it to do.

This is one example of Microsoft ruining the games industry. If you saw God of War and God of War 2 at the beginning of the PS2's life cycle you would have thought it was impossible.

Either way, alternate time history hasn't been done very often and it was a pretty cool.
Halo has the massive beautiful architecture and a deep history with forerunner technology and all that nice stuff.
In my opinion, the best one is Half-Life 2. If you haven't played that game, it's like 1984 combined with War of the Worlds. It really is a masterpiece of gaming.

In case that's not enough for you: Steam does everything GFWL does, but it does it free and it offers a library of new and vintage games for a great price.
It allows it's users to play with no disk swapping and it has a great community feature list upcoming. Basically, it does everything you can ever want short of achievements...
