Warhawk isn't a flop, my friends and all their friends and plenty of people on forums are getting it regardless.
This is coming from someone who still plays Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake 3 Arena, Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress and Battlefield 2.
The game really is a top-notch gaming experience.
I'll give 8.0. I'll fault it on:
1 for lack of maps (Easily solved with downloadable content)
.5 for rough controls as an infantry unit on the ground (Or maybe I just suck playing as infantry.
.5 for the graphics looking like a High-Defi...
Odd, I was in the beta and I had a blast.
From what I read in the magazine scan, they faulted it being online only.
By that logic Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, and that online only game for X-Box Live (Shadowrun? Shadow something?) Are all failures.
They also faulted the price...It's 40 bucks...and free online with free dedicated servers. Seriously now, I'm not trying to damage control, but I will call out people for being idiots if they're logic ...
Gaemespot might be biased in a sense that, their editorials and articles are biased in favor of the 360. However their reviews are top-notch in my opinion. They don't let it interfere with their professionalism.

360 only has 4 exclusive games in the 100-90% range after 2 years. Our first year games are coming out soon. Don't be so quick to jump the gun.

That says alot right there. Since I like getting creative in my games (Like HL2) I don't regret pre-purchasing this game off Steam in the least bit.
Twilight Princess was total ass. I couldn't finish it. Brought it back two days after I bought it. Zelda doesn't cater to everyone...
Edit: It wasn't ass, tons of people loved it. I didn't. So when I say that, I mean, in my opinion, it wasn't a great game at all. Sorry if you liked it alot and felt offended.

I agree with what you say, but I never heard

All I heard was:
"PS3 version is 2 weeks behind..."
We get Hardboiled with Stranglehold. Worthy trade-off I'd say.
Considering of course, You saw and enjoyed Hard-Boiled. If you like action movies, I highly recommend finding a torrent (You can't buy this movie anymore). It's a very good action movie.

It's not a ten, it doesn't have enough maps or a refined enough third person infantry mode to warrant a perfect mark. But my God, it's a great,exciting, thrilling game.
It's not a ten, but I wouldn't like the word on the street to be that this game is a 7. It's definitely up there with alot of Multiplayer games I've played.
