I played Battleborn before I played Overwatch. I knew next to nothing about Overwatch. I did not enjoy Battleborn. It's not a polished game, it's not a nice looking game, it's not a good game. If Overwatch never existed, Battleborn would still be terrible.
I'm the guy in the video and I completely agree with your point. However, it's intentional. It's a sort of filter to exclude the overly protective audience, as it often results in bickering without meaningful resolution *cough* N4G *cough* It might lower my views and subscriptions, but I like to think the right people will get it. At least, I hope that's what it does.

The reason he's been so darn successful and influential is because he's a filmmaker first and a video game fan second. His choice in camera angles and edits is top notch. Other creators need whole teams to make a series, he's been a one man crew (with a little help here and there) for a decade. What a pro.
