Dude is nearly 45. He's right, game are more violent today than when he was coming up. He didn't say they were worse. Didn't say they were bad. Just said violence is more prevalent in pop culture. And compaired to Pac-Man and Defender, that's absolutely 100% true.

At this point we really don't have much of any real world politics in games. So even if it's shoehorned in, I'd consider that an improvement. There's going to be botches along the way until someone gets it right

The problem with Driveclub is how late it is. There's not one element of it that stands out. The environments are empty and sterile, it's sort of spooky. The driving feels stiff and ridged, even the best cars control like a shopping cart.
I feel bad for Evolution. I have no idea who picked the project, but it's the complete opposite of their strengths. Good on them for trying something new but I found it to be one of the least enjoyable racing games of this gene...
Game is dope. Seeing a lot of mixed reviews and I recognize there are one or two annoying bits. But the overall experience is fantastic.
At least you can sleep through the movie.
Don't expect X-Men Legends anytime soon. Fox owns the right to any onscreen adaptation of mutants so Disney/Marvel dont push the franchise like they used to. There's a reason we're seeing a promising Spider-Man game right after Marvel worked out a deal to put him in the MCU. What did Fox get in return? The rights to an X-Men TV show. So yeah, probably not going to see those games in the near future.

You absolutely 100% could. You could have 20 years ago. For many of the people on this site, there's no reason to buy this.
BUT that's not the market they're going after. This is for the people who stopped playing games because a controller with three or four buttons was too complicated for them. This is for people who dont know what "emulation" means. This is for the walmart, sears, dollar general crowd. And that's a huge market.
