I'm a law student (in Scotland) so i'm very interested to see how this pans out; "ownership" in law is actually quite restrictive and these hackers are very mistaken in taking the view that "i paid for it so i can do whatever i want with it" - that will not wash in court.
Also IP law is very technical and complex so no doubt Sony will have some of the best lawyers working on this.
Considering the amount of $$$ hackers cost com...

Sony announced during GC10 that sales had exceeded 4m.
Very few games are a system seller - last year we had Reach and GT5 which deserve that title but both got overlooked for awards. On the other hand ME2 is not a system seller but took a few awards.
Lol, i can remember ND appreciating Halo Reach and RDR. Fact is devs tend to praise one another; the bitching is left to publishers (yes i'm looking at you Acti and EA!)
COD4 was made by Infinity Ward and yes that was brilliant; think of the CODs made by Treyach (3,5,7) and they all look mediocre in comparison to IWs work.
The graphics and sound fx are also crap. All in all it just shows Treyarch cannot make good games.

Black Ops for me; seriously how the f*ck did Treyarch manage to screw up such an easy job - all they had to do was copy MW2 but take out the problems (like boosting, annoying perks etc) but then they put in crap graphics, sound fx and terrible maps, not to mention the problems on PS3.
I'm no Cod hater; i actually enjoy MW2 despite its problems and i've gone back to playing that and will be trading in BO: anyone tell me where I can get a good price in the UK ?
Some of the jobs they are looking for talk of an "upcoming project" and require experience in FPS games; this could be KZ3 or their new IP is an FPS.

Lots of games have shooting elements; but what i think you mean is military-based FPS in which case I'd tend to agree with you - they have cliched characters, storylines and set pieces.
Yeah on T2's release list it's listed as Fiscal Year 2012.
I doubt one game (that unfortunately shares it's title with XIII) going multi is going to solve many problems for SE.
If there was ever a good chance for Sony to acquire them (wasnt this rumored back in 04/05?) now would be it.
Why is Halo in the list yet Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Agent
are in the "rumored" column? I don't think any od those games are out in 2011 but at least those two are confirmed.
Agent is; LA Noire used to be.

Thing is no one wants to spend £££ (or $$$) on a gaming pc; for the price of a rig u can buy both a PS3 and a 360 and that's why they're so popular.
Also pc gamers keep saying u can build a rig for a lot less than buying one ready made but most people dont know how to do that nor have the time.

I think GT5 is a victim of expectation; although i dont agree with the "Much delayed" talk since the game only suffered one three week
delay in the west (long dev time =/= delayed!); for what the game is-a racing sim- it's a 10/10.
It's all the additional features that are being inspected and marked down; ironically if they put less stuff into the game and released it earlier it would have got 10s all around.
I think it's the reveal for Agent; R*North usually have their own event for revealing their titles simply because everyone is so interested in their games.
It might be Uncharted 3 since U2 was revealed at a similar time two years ago.

-if u legally own a gun u cant go shooting people with it
