"the scale for games at N4G is"
you mean "the scale for exclusive games at N4G is"
I'll be picking up Demon's Souls on Tuesday, then I can get a week out of that before Uncharted 2 hits, then I'll play the hell out of it and pick up some of the games I missed (like Borderlands, R&C, maybe Brutal Legend and Forza) later in the year when I have time.
So for me, it's just about getting through tomorrow until I finally get some new games to play.
Now take out the multiplats.
"I like the boo-tays more myself...."
You would..
:-P
"I'm sick of all these Uncharted fanboys crying about review scores. Most of them haven't even played the first game. I've probably beaten it more times than they can count and I don't give a sh*t about review scores."
I only read one comment complaining about the score. Stop victimizing yourself. If it annoys you, don't click on the links to the review stories, and definitely don't click on the comments.
You know what's more annoying than people complainin...
"Demon’s Souls is what an 8-Bit game would play like if it were popped open and dumped out in your lap."
I think that sums the game up nicely. 2 more days....
"The Dreamcast didn't fail - Sega did"
Agreed 100%
"If they didn't get the full experience, it is because they choose to. I for one would rather have a choice, than no choice, but to each their own."
I don't remember seeing "if you buy this, you can't play the entirety of certain single player games" on the Arcade box. Plus, what happens if you're like me and hardly have any space left on your HD? Do I have to delete games now just so I can play Forza 3? I don't understand how this isn't a bad decision.
...
My opinion is that your opinion is true.
"all you're doing is preaching the anti MSFT bible to anti MSFT believers lol"
And you're doing the complete opposite, which is just as bad.
Looks good, but I personally don't like the direction it's going. I hate the idea of mark and execute, but I figured it was optional. However, after seeing the last few walkthroughs, it seems like the game is built around it. You basically walk up to a box or climb on something, then jump out and let the game shoot everyone... and if you don't want to mark and execute, you're at a huge disadvantage.
I think it's funny that people complain about the long cutscenes in MGS4 (I'm one...
"Splinter Cell looks better IMO. Uncharted isn't on the 360"
fixed. Splinter Cell looks great, but nowhere near Uncharted... it's not even a matter of opinion.
"Think freely. It feels good."
Look who's talking... 5/5 for ODST? So the short campaign, recycled MP, and co-op without matchmaking aren't significant enough to bring it to at least a 4.5? That's a sign of a reviewer who doesn't know wtf he's doing.
wtf, where's Trine???
Is there any way I can buy it off the EU store (I live in the US)
Shut up, hulk
=P
Deathmatch doesn't sound like a good idea for Crackdown. All you have to do is lock on them, aim at their head, hide, then jump out and pull the trigger. Deathmatch with the firefly missiles would be awesome, though.
Tthere's a lot of potential with the co-op.. they better do something amazing.
nvm
"So assuming you have only played the multiplayer, how are you guys in any position to tell anyone else what score this game should get, or compare it to games you have already played."
The game's been getting 10/10s across the board, with some 95s+ sprinkled in. The game is obviously better than NFS:S or Dead Space. If you read the review, don't you find it funny that he spends more time justifying the -.5 than explaining the good things about the game?
An...
If it got the score it deserves, more people will be interested in it.. meaning more money for devs to make Uncharted 3 even better.
If you can't see that MS is forcing you to buy things they've already sold to you, then you have no right to criticize other people. If they made just the SP and firefight modes available for download for $30, how many people would get that instead? Yet those people have no qualms with getting reamed, opening the door for other publishers to charge full price for expansions instead of releasing a full game.
Be a gamer, not one of the herd.
