I completely agree that this needs to stop. The playstation brand credibility has suffered due to these stupid claims. It is very hard not to counter the article by pointing out that in 2007 and 2008 the same exact thing was said by many (some even believe that 2007 and 2008 were actually the year of the playstation lol)
also the timing seems suspect considering that the hardware sale numbers were published yesterday and the playstation 3 did not do so well in the US.

i played it on the 360 and the controls were terrible. It will probably be the same for the playstation 3. I am not saying the game is unplayable, but if u r a fan of rts games it will be a huge issue. It was for me.
i advice you to pick it up for the PC, if u have the option. But if u only have a playstation 3, then it might be ur only choice.
i also cannot wait for halo wars .. the demo was amazing.
but i am not sure it will get better reviews than kz2
and either way they are such different games that i feel it is a disservice to both games to even compare them..

on point: i have only played the halo demo so i cannot give an opinion on which is better. But i can tell u that halo demo had great replay value, and it has fan...
i agree that the problem with fanboys is a general one.
however, at least in n4g it is evident that things are getting out of hand with the sony crew. you can keep attacking the messengers all u want but were i stand, here at n4g, the sony fanboys are rabid and they even have talking points.

well i do not know about you guys but i am not buying a playstation 3 without backwards c... i have over 300 playstaiton2 games and i am not goin to keep the playstation 2 next to the playstation 3 and 360 in my game room connected at the same time.
So perhaps u people, who think Sony cant do not wrong, do not see the importance of bc, but trust me there are many poeple like me who are still waiting for bc (o and a price cut)

i find very little to complain about. It also seems that the authors main grip is the exclusion of singstar heros. It is a good game but it does not affect the collection in my view. True some games have been available for some time, but 50+ games with achievements and 720p for $30.00...wow how can we really complain.

well i am on the fence on this alleged control problem. I loved RE4 and never had a problem with the controls once i got used to it. I'll wait for the game and see if there really is a problem once i played more than just a level in a demo.
notwithstanding i have to admit that somehting did not feel right. It felt weird. SO it might be that the bar has been raised by the likes of gears and dead space (only as to controls mind u), but it might also be a clunky camera..

i think that is a good point, but i respectfully disagree. 2008 was the year of the wii and the 360 and the playstation are pretty much tied for second.. i prefered the 360 but i really cannot make a stong argument that it bested the playstation in 2008.
in any case good to here that we can have a reasoned discussion without fanboy drivel..
