i agree that the 360 has a stellar line up, but the Sony fans have this belief system that does not allow them to see anything good if it does not say "sony exclusive" and then when the games finally come out, after years of hype, they do not buy them.. go figure.
I for one can appreciate that Sony does have a good line up for 09. Which is better? well will see at the end ...

Surely u r not suggesting the 360 cannot have bigger online games because I remember Perfect Dark Zero, a game that came out in 2005 for the 360, had 25 v. 25 player matches.

aside from the price, the only thing holding me back from buying a playstaiton3 is the lack of BC.
I have been a gamer since the Atari 500 (yes the one with the wooden finish) and i love my old games. For me bc is paramount. In Sony's case it is worst, because they arguably have the biggest and most comprehensive collection of games out there.
You can defend sony all u want, but as a gamer i feel BC is necesary. If MS did the same thing with the next system ...

i have been hearing form sony fans all the time that unlike 360 games, this is a lag free and bug free online experience. This is strange news.
i hope next time people in N4G criticize 360 games and claim that live is a buggy messy lag filled experience realize that these issues apply to everyone not just 360 users
on that note enjoy KZ2, i'll be joining very soon once they lower the price and bring back BC.
