my concern it what happens in ten years?
what if xbox live and/or psn cease to exist? what happens to your downloads. Is there a guarantee that the games you paid for but deleted to make more room will always be there to download again in the future?
i dont know but i like the security of having the hard copy.
I know that you can break or scratch a disk but at least i know it exists and i know that i take great care of all my games.

hey of course i agree that it is a dirty business, and that if one states publicly that another company plans to do a price cut it could affect sales.

i have to agree. Lots of Sony fans in N4G are as arrogant as the company.
My theory is that lots of Sony die hard fans (if not most) all grew up with the playstation 1 and 2, and never truly experienced the other consoles. Sony's dominance for 10 years has really created strong support from part of the gaming community (it seems that they are all members of n4g lol).

I do not feel happy to hear this, but in the end i really feel that Sony needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
They have been acting as if MS and the WII did not exist form the beginning. Their arrogance has damaged them severely this gen. But i think that at the end this will only make Sony stronger. they will learn from this and we will all benefit at the end.
