However, EA has a right to decide with whome to do business. Their reasons seem legitimate, third party games have generally performed poorly with nintendo, particularly the last two gens.
It is also true that people are not buying enough wiiu software. EA has a right to play it safe and focus their resourses on other platforms.

Not if you look at the difference in market share between this gen and the last. MS dramaticlaly increased its market share and Sony's market share significanly decreased from the playstation 2 era.

it is not yet clear, Sony has been a bit vague about it, although one of its CEO's said that you can play offline, but the devloper and/or publisher of the game might impose its own restrictions. MS has not said anything yet, but it is rumored that they might require an always on connection.
If its true then it super sucks for gamers.
Maybe I am wrong, and I am no Sony fanboy, but i thought it was nintendo who screwed Sony over back then, and basically forced Sony to make the Playstaiton 1, big mistake for nintendo at the time, and inadvertently placed Sony on the gaming market map.

my only concern is whether I should buy it immediately, or wait for the Playstation 4 version which will probably look better and include all DLC.
Moreover, since the Playstaiton 4 will not have bc, then I would be forced to buy the game again.

I do not think MS would do this given that Sony already annouced that it will not block used games.
However, if this were to be true, then it sucks, and will affect my decision of which system to buy first.
I did not know that MS annouced the specs of the new system.
