1. I didn't read the article so I won't criticize it.
2. IMO things like 3D and VR, while not necessarily the "future" of gaming, do have their place, but not every game/movie benefits equally from it, if at all.
An old school RPG wouldn't gain much from VR or 3D, but it could really benefit 1st person games: each player gets a full screen, screen peeking is eliminated, better representation of depth, sound can be player specific, etc.
Didn't they have a pro-guitar that had more buttons for that pro difficulty? OR was that another game?
That's pretty dope. All the current gen systems have an exclusive: wii u has a smash style battle mode; ps3/ps4 gets Kratos; and xbone(360?) get battle toads. Good stuff all around.
Pokemon
Senran Kagura
Boob simulator 4
DOA XBV
Stuff that's fun but won't get me killed...
I know right?! The gameplay made sense, but controls could be refined. And the levels were pretty fun. IMO the worst part of the game was the final boss. It's ont of those few cases where I'd prefer if the main baddy didn't have a giant boss form. His starting look was sooooo BA.
Still waiting for Sonic Heroes 2. It wasn't perfect but it had potential.
just use the online store if you're in a rush to buy it.
I dunno why this rumor was taken seriously when Nintendo is footing the bill...
Good ol DOA2
XD
that's kinda cool
That's the thing, though. It BECAME boring and repetitive to some (I enjoyed it, but I didn't play it every day). It started out very enjoyable which at the very least means they have something good to build on. I'd rather them build upon a decent idea that was overused than completely scrap it......so long as the single player is solid, of course.
I pre-ordered one and recently got my confirmation text, so I'm good.
a vision!?
All the Mass effects & their dlc were on sale about a month ago. I remember picking up all the major dlc and ME1. Unfortunately I doubt they'll discount it again any time soon.
I'd pre-order the shiz outta that Amiibo.
If it involves Bayonetta and Wii U, I'm down.
That sounds like Go Shiina....I reaaally hope it is.
EDIT: IT IS! W0000007!
I literally just bought it full price for a present last week...[sigh] I guess an extra $20 for a Christmas smile isn't so bad.
Some games actually do that. Dishonored was one.
Those were just examples and the examples you gave can be done without VR. I'm saying they wouldn't gain much in terms of gameplay not that they don't work. Using VR for FFVI wouldn't enhance the game in terms of gameplay/strategy and neither would using 3D; hey, look, a boss is about to penetrate me from a different angle. It affects presentation, but not gameplay (which is most important) in that example. But, also as an example, using 3D in a 3d movement fighting game or 1s...
