The difference is how the game are made. Few ps3 games have vita connectivity; the ones that do simply have it as an after thought. All wii u games will be based and built around the controller. It comes down to if you want a $250-300 after thought that you'll still probably have to buy games for.
My own thought are that Wii u is better than a ps3 vita combo. I myself have a ps3, wii, and psp, but the vita doesnt have games I like available at launch and the wii-u is alr...

Is it really the same British voice actors? I didnt want to spoil the game for myself like I did with Tales of the Abyss so I avoided most videos, sans videos of the very beginning of the game.

I'd love a new Shenmue. I only played the first one, though. Never been one to buy a system for a single game. Still....Shenmue is one of the few games I want to be multiplatform just so everyone can experience it. Hopefully there will be a compilation of some sort.

I used to agree with you(about watching videos) until a few days ago. I watched an IGN review of the PSP modnations Racers and it looked horrible due to (almost completely) looking slow. Then when I randomly decided to watch some you tube videos I found out the the IGN reviewer simply sucked at the game. The players in the Youtube videos were tearing the track up.

Sounds like a downloadable episode, but I'd love a localization.....[sigh] Should have paid better attention in Japanese class.
Personally I believe Nintendo should bite the bullet and sell at a loss. More systems =more games and accessories sold(for both wii u and wii), so eventually-sooner than later- it will pay off.
But regardless, launch titles will be the deciding factor on how well the wii u does next year.
