I dont think its a betrayal, but it's gonna be an awkward transition. I've played symphonia sooooo many times on GC. Playing on a different console after all these years is gonna be awkward.
But it's amazing how many disagrees we got. Apparently, preferring the game to be on wii u, but still buying it on ps3 warrants many disagrees lol.
I guess no one finds it awkward when a series or sub-series moves to a console you're not used to it being o...
Meh. I've never been into trophies (I own a ps3). I guess it's because they tend to reward players for stupid stuff: "Unlocked: You beat Chapter 1!". No ish!?!?
That trailer is brilliant!
little cousin broke my cube. I bought a wii mostly to play my GC collection and Brawl. My collection has expanded since then, but my Wii saw heavy use before I got my Wii U.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuu....
;_;
It's ok I guess. I have a ps3 and Wii U, but it's gonna feel weird playing Symphonia on a non-nintendo console.
The story and vastly limited use of ToS characters (who capped at lvl 50 by the way) was a let down. I also like the original artstyle more. However the combat and monster capture/training system were redeeming aspects.
(EDIT: the world map sucked as well)
Fortunately it seems like there will be extra features which may include a better multi-player camera and the Japan-only hi-ougis(mystic arts) for ToS and maybe a few more updates for the Tos cast in DotNW.

I looked at the pic before reading the title and thought it was a yoshi egg.....that is all.
Not having a bunch of clutter is nice
I can't say I agree. Melee felt like twitchy bricks to me. Brawl, while definitely slower, felt a lot smoother and I generally find it both more responsive and fun.
I will say that melee was better balanced and quite tournament worthy. The tripping and vastly unbalanced Final Smashes are Brawls only real weaknesses imo. Tripping was stupid and final smashes, while fun, had varying degrees of usefulness which changed based on too many factors(level design/size, # of chara...
As much as I hate DLC (disc locked content) it may be a plausible route for devs to take; wii-u disk have a ton of space on them.
Though, I would prefer that devs simply optimize their games and not rely on dlc. If they make games that players actually want to keep they wouldnt have to worry about used games "ruining" sales or about supporting their games via over priced dlc.
But that's just my opinion. There's are probably plenty of people ...
Tales of Rebirth/Legendia hd anyone? No? ok ;_;
This makes my soul happy.
Lehgo Big Band!
Watch the original movie. Don't get me wrong, the models can definitely be improved, but it looks like they're going for the 1990 film look.
They have a lot of work to do though. Donatello's head looked tiny during that screen freeze.
do U even Smash?
.....>_>
I couldn't resist
Depends on how the account is set up and how you can access it. I mean if a hacker steals your account(they're very good at finding things) and transfers the account to a new wii u, it's still a problem.
Additionally I thought wii u could have multiple accounts linked to it(one being a master). It would make more sense to just limit the amount of wii u's an account can be linked to. I mean, who is going to have 5+ active non-devkit wii u's linked to one accoun...
Maybe there's a cheerleading minigame...
I was fine yesterday, but I just now started having problems....
I wanna see clock tower 3 and Persona 4. Unfortunately with the vita version of Persona 4 on the way, I doubt we'll see it....I'm still hoping though.
Persona 3 FEZ is already there and there is an HD version of Jak 3 (the whole original trilogy actually)
The trailer killed my interest.
