The game looks good and even if it's not a traditional Metal Gear, it will still be better than most game on the market. It just looks like a mash-up of Ninja Gaiden and DMC with Raiden going through a severe and unexplained personality shift, not a Metal Gear game.
It's like releasing a Tenchu that plays like a Ninja Gaiden.
Yes, just drop the "Metal Gear" name. Right now I hate Raiden like it's 2001.

It's not just missing that. There isn't even the cheat menu. Uncharted 2 had so much replay value just because of that (in my eyes, at least, having any gun at any time is always nice).
I have over 1k hours on SF too but I'd still appreciate if they would stop with disc release. They had a "reason" to release so many version back on the SNES. Now we got online, welcome to the 21st century Capcom.

For a game this size (budget speaking, too) to survive and not be crushed by today's blockbusters, they HAD to modernize it. Yes it has been "dumbed down", I still got 52 hours on this game and you can just FEEL that the only reason the game has flaws, it is because they did not have more time.
