Please. No game is perfect but the execution of multiplayer is excellent. Collision detection is exaggerated to say the least as are the little annoyances mentioned. Some people who loved Halo 2 are going to hate Halo 3. The weapon balance and gameplay seems to be a pseudo Halo 1 and 2. If you liked both of the predecessors you will love the 3rd.
But until there is a free service that matches that of Xbox Live, I'll be happy to pay. I also think is interesting that Playstation ONLY fans harp about online being "expensive" yet they have the most expensive console. Ads will eventually make Xbox Live free.
Rather than come to the conclusion that the website is biased or the game is bad, why don't we reserve our judgment on the final game. There are so many good games coming out for the holiday...there is no reason to cry if this one is a dud. This story is the kind of fanbait that doesn't belong on N4G.
I have every intention of finally owning a PS3 this holiday. The lack of bc is kind of disappointing but then again I own a PS2:-P If you want to play PS2 games (and don't own one) Sony will probably slash the price of the PS2 to $100; effectively the cost of bc if you were to go for the 60 gig. This announcement is great news despite being known about for some time.

Mass Effect shouldn't be a pass for anyone. Haze hopefully is better than I feel it will turn out (decent). If Haze somehow manages to clone Halo 3's controls and weapon balance excellence it will be a must buy for me. Waiting to rent it at the least.
Makes me feel 100x better about this game. It seems to be a genre blender (action, rpg, adventure, fighter) with plenty to do . Finally some positive press for Too Human. Hopefully it lives up to all its been promised to deliver.

Looks like a higher resolution Xbox 1 game rather than a graphical showcase. Am I the only one that doesn't think it looks that good? Before someone types something stupid and fanboyish I am interested in the game. I don't think it looks nearly on par with some of the other PS3 and 360 titles:( Gameplay over graphics win me over every time (aka Halo 3). :-)

It doesn't matter which looks better so long as one plays better...aka better controller. I do not hate the PS controller but I feel the 360 definitely has the better FPS controller. Multi-player via LIVE is a second reason to choose the 360 version. Also, for people that say separate servers are superior to host servers, you are correct...but I haven't experien...
Did anyone ever tell you that Lair sucked...alot? Lair also suffers from some pretty bad frame rate issues.
16.5 million PS3's by the end of March 2008 is more than ridiculous. Aiphanes calculated the number sold per month at 1.6 million...good math, poor logic if anyone believes that is possible. I plan on purchasing a PS3 at the rumored $400 price mark, and I assume millions of others will as well. However, think about how much the PS3 sold (shipped?)to date: 5.5 million worldwide. I just needed to let you in on a little advice...GET A LIFE. I am glad the PS3 is receiving a $400 dollar SKU; I can sell my PS2 and afford one. Everyone has preference in terms of what console they like to game on and the basis usually isn't about graphics. I think you forgot about a few single player games 360 has...Bioshock and Mass Effect. Both experiences you will never find on the PS3. Also, I would prefer a ground breaking single player experience (Bioshock)over a crappy game like Lair any day.
The review crew at EGM gave the game a low score because they slept with the dragon in Lair and it gave them herpes. ¡STFU!
