If it was a PS3 exclusive, i'd say it would have been a great launch title for ps move, using the motion controls for it's flashlight mechanics and add the suspense Alan wake delievers it would be the perfect motion control game for the hardcore audience.
I hate online trophies especially when games have their severs closed down or you can't get them due to a poor MP community. I prefer developers make online trophies not required for Platinum like Uncharted 2.

I mean, CyberConnect2 made the first one for the PS3, so they have skills for developing on the PS3 or enough for them to make both versions on par with each other.

Killzone 3 or Halo: Reach aren't even competing against each other.

Yeah, I've read something about nisa considering loacalizing the game but I feel they have already have they're hands full with ar tonelico 3, atelier totori: alchemist of arland 2, and diseaga 4 but as long as we get tales of vesperia/ graces don't really care who will publish it. Though Both Atlus & nisa are the only ones I think would consider localizing the game and will deliever a grade A quality localization.
Sony announced this back at E3. The Medal of Honor PS3 Limited Edition will include Medal of Honor: Frontlines HD Remastered along with Dead Space 2 PS3 limited edition will include Dead Space: Extraction HD Remastered. Both at the same price too, $60. Sounds like a worthy buy to me, especially since Moh will include a beta key for Battlefield 3.
I think if all else fails, I think another third party should try to pick up the license and localize it for the west. Like Atlus for example because It just simply won't work with Namco of America, I mean two years now and no PS3 Tales of Vesperia.
Might as well hand it off to Atlus, they seemed to enjoy localizing PS3 exclusives with the success of 3D Dot Heroes and Demon's Souls.

I was one of those people that was hyped up for this game because I enjoyed Lost Planet one, but when I saw it had bad reviews from multiple reviewers, I decided to rent it.
