Well, of Course, Microsoft is not gonna give up, but I think it would be wasted effort to try to capture the Japanese market again. If Jrpg exclusives didn't work and the new Xbox 360 S didn't make a dent in the Japanese Market, Why continue to spend money and resources on the Japanese market again?
Instead of MS placing their money and resources on Japanese games, they should just focus on where they do best and that is getting Western developers to make them Xbox360...
Microsoft had the Jrpgs, It wasn't enough to deliver a major push the Xbox360 in Japan. Now, Third Party Devs are starting to switch to PS3 like NamcoBandai as they're making Tales of Graces F and a Tales of for PS3.
And Square Enix announced Gun Loco at Gamescom because it was a shooter aimed for the Western Audience rather the Japanese audience.
So by your logic, your saying no ones going to be interested in patched games for Kinect such as Forza 3, Fable 3, or Harry potter?
Of Course, People will be interested in Move Enabled games. I mean if I picked up Move, It would certainly add to the value to know that I have games in my collection all ready to play with Move.
SCEJ should of abandoned this game from the start and made something more interesting like teaming up with From Software to make Demon Soul's 2 with Move Support.
Looks like having the PS3 as Lead Platform has paid off. Go Platinum Games.
Played the demo on PS3 and it played really smooth. Anyone else tried the demo today? Cause, this game is awesome. I really like the face pace action.
I have to admit that picture on the Video with Gabriel Belmont vs Kratos is pretty badass.
1080p Wallpaper please? I would like to put this as my background on my PS3.
Haven't picked up God of War 3 yet. Probably gonna get both of these during the holiday season and enjoy them on Christmas break.
Disaster Report 4 for PS3 featuring both PlayStation Move and 3D support.
"Your goal is to escape the destroyed city, finding safe paths through collapsing buildings and dealing with panicked and fleeing people."
This sounds like a good idea especially with 3D support. Haven't played any of them, Anyone know if they were good?

You really have to question yourself is paying $60 a year worth it when you can play on PSN or Steam for free?
I mean, really, I don't see how anyone can defend this price hike even if it could mean a big feature is coming, what feature could you possibly get that requires a price hike? Hulu Plus? You can get that for free on PC. Kinect features? Probably. You would think with the cost reductions for producing Xbox 360 S, MS would have been able to decrease the price for...
Alright, this is great. Glad the game got a great score. Gonna buy sometime soon along with Kingdom Hearts: BBS. Now, Sega, make Valkyria Chronicles 3 for PS3. They even registered the Site domain. Hopefully, Sega Announces it at this year's TGS.
Edit
Holy Crap, I didn't know this had Co-op and Mulitplayer. Man, that is awesome, I might have to buy this Day one. Now, imagine if they Added co-op and Multiplayer for Valykria Chronicles for PS3. Dang, Sega defin...
Well, from the look of game play video. It certainly looks like it will run with a smooth frame rate as Platinum games stated. Can't wait to try out the demo tomorrow.
This isn't actually old. It's a list thats recently updated and reorganized to date revealing only 25-21 so far on the list. So it isn't old as the reports claims.
Also, IGN is probably gonna have reorganize and update this article next year when a slew of PS3 Exclusives release such as The Last guardian, Infamous 2, Socom 4, Resistance 3, Agent, Motostorm Apocalypse, Killzone 3, Twisted Metal, etc. Not to mention the multiplats such as Portal 2, Mass Effect 2, De...
You have to be kidding yourself if you don't think this game won't eventually be released in the west. This game looks phenomenal ,beautiful, and has quite high quality production values for a Downloadable title. I'm sure most third Party publishers are already interested in publishing this title on PSN like Atlus, Nisa, or XSeed.
@Droid Smasha
Dude, just admit it, This Price increase is unnecessary and greedy.
Its like they're trying to cash on the New Owners that buy Kinect in November and millions that are gonna Halo: Reach.
@Hallmark Moment
Yeah, and you can probably get those features for free on other platforms like a PC. Hell, maybe those new features will only be for Kinect. That means one would have to get Kinect and XBL Gold to enjoy those features.
Rage looks like it will take advantage of each platform power with their engine and their mega textures technique. Hell, even on the iPhone it looks phenomal that I can say that it's on par with ps2/ xbox/gc graphics. I think ID software is really saying the truth when they're taking advantage of each platform's power. The rage enigne is really impressive and John carmack is a genius for introducing mega textures.
I hope Sony reveals the PSP 2 because With Apple and their iPhone/ ipod Touch showing off Rage/ Unreal Engine Support and Nintendo showing off the 3DS. Sony has to step their game up and show off PSP 2.
